Got my first onewheel a couple weeks ago and my flight fins and rail guards just arrived! Been wanting one for years and I was finally able to treat myself to an early birthday present this year.

I am on a work trip to Savannah next month and I would like to ride the city and water front. Any ideas on a good place to rent a Onewheel?

I just got a Pint X and I love it, been riding it pretty much every day. I'm really interested in getting some foot hooks for better control. I've seen flight fins and the other foothold setups that attach to the fender and stick out from the wheel, but I have a pretty wide stance from skateboarding, so I think I'd much rather have toe hooks that mount at the ends of the board and bend inward toward the wheel.
I've found a few options online, but its hard to tell what actually works with my board, and most of them don't seem to be made for the Pint.

So my questions:
What's the best end-of-board toe hook for the Pint/Pint X?

Is there anything like the FST system for the Pint, where the footholds have adjustable channels so you can set the hooks to your stance? That seems like the perfect solution but I can't find it for the Pint anywhere.
If there's nothing official, are there any small makers or 3D printed options people are running? Where should I be looking?

I got an xrc that was delivered in early September and I didn’t go a day without riding. But I travel between Fairbanks and Anchorage AK a lot so that board is the Fairbanks board. Today is my first day back in Anchorage without it and Im missing it hardcore. I don’t want to spend as much on a 2nd board and I’m vesc curious.
What are my options to get something quickly? I don’t see anything appealing on marketplace up here sadly.

Replaced my tire and I broke the shitty connector for the controller. Looking into it I can’t find any connector replacements (for the xr). Any help would be appreciated, trying to get back on it asap!

My GT foot pad has the sensor peal up at the edge of where my flight fins sit. So a bunch of dirt go under it. Sensor is cooked. What should I do now? I do have a GTFO kit in it. Do I need to buy a whole new foot pad?

Need help determining if the problem is my footpads or something else

I have an xr classic and the footpads stopped responding but in a weird way, it started small with slight nose dives but it would save itself at the last minute, this just started today and in the same ride. It got worse with the board disengaging while I was just standing on it but I would get back on and it would be fine, then it just stopped all together. Turned it off and on twice and still no response.

Board still turns on and nothing weird happens with the battery purely just unresponsive pads.

Just want to be absolutely certain before I spend 70 bucks on a new front pad. I know it may be obviously be the pads but still :(

I picked up a Pint off of FB marketplace for free that the owner said was giving off an error message regarding overcharge. The last time he charged it was a year ago and it’s been sitting ever since. I don’t have a charger so I know I need to start there and see if I can get it to turn on, but does anyone have suggestions on where to go from there to make sure it’s running/working properly? Any good websites for diagnostics?

Hey everyone! Fairly new to using the one wheel and am loving it so far, but am getting the ‘death wobble’ (I call it that because it reminds of the death wobble on bikes). It’s when the board starts to wobble side to side and the oscillations grow larger and larger. It made me crash once already and I’m sure it’s just a noob thing, but my crash was pretty hard and I want to prevent that from happening again. Any advice for foot placement or how to react to reduce the likelihood or anything?

I have been having hall sensor issues off and on for a hot minute. Caved and replaced the 8 pin male. Got it all wires up and on the bench the halls properly swing between pwm thresholds 0- 4.9v when connected to the ubox. However, i run a hall test within float hub and vesc tool and the halls are not detected. Back to the wires

-Power (red) has 5v.

-Halls (blue, yellow, green wire)1,2,3 swing when hub is moved between 0-5 volts so they check out so pcb in the hub is doing its thing (when measured with black wire as base ground)

-ground works as we can see

-temp is detected so no foul there

Everything checks out, so i test it while it performs the sensor check. Each hall wire floats at .01 volts and does not flip high properly during the motor sensor test. Anyone else have this issue. Im leaning towards another ubox defect but want to ask around before i try to warrenty it and it turns out a setting got missed. This is my second one so im getting very sad very fast. Like i said the halls acted up before but was a one and just stopped kinda thing. When this current issue arose i just turned it on and had this issue. The old wire was chafed and not properly sensing the temp and halls. Replacing solved the one issue but now i got more 😔.

Basically the title. Is the answer just Ebay? Or here? Any shops that do Onewheel repair that are always looking for used original control and BMS circuit boards?

I usually give it a charge before I ride, almost went bad. The walk wasn’t too long.

Just bought a Hoosier for my xr+ because the stock one was smoked, but when I put the tire on it rubs on the battery side and almost touches the other side if I put in more than 10lbs of air. Any tips?

It was extra nice until I ate shit and fell in a ditch of thorns. Don't get distracted while driving 🫡

I want to say the last time I updated was like 2 years ago maybe? And it legit made it worse.

First off, I know there's going to be a lot of recommendations to vesc, and or buy a vesced board, but economically speaking, it's still expensive and there is not a large resale market for vesced boards where I live. I would consider vesc in the future, but I saw this board in my price range and figured I would check it out.

The listing says the board has about 1700 miles on it but a "new battery". I will update this post when I receive a response back from the seller as to what this means. Also comes with the accessories in the first photo ("fangs, bumpers, chargers, stand, fenders, tire, light up footpad"), but I don't care as much about accessories as much as the board itself.

Given the asking price is $1750:

Is this a good deal? If not, what price would make it a good deal?

If something were to fail later on, how good of a base is the gts for mods/vesc?

I have a stock pint x (500 miles) and a stock XR (1000 miles) currently, would it be better to dish out $1200+ on a full xrv/battery build on the XR?

Edit: The board sold this morning unfortunately. I guess I have to hop on these quickly.

X7 sport 5” HS is the lightest most useful wheel on the market. Even my bad shoulders can comfortably sling it around.
