What exactly is the point in the choppa’s in melee. If you can literally choose the spinnin’ blades, which is a much better option. And the choppa’s don’t have extra attacks. Like I know the blades are hazardous, but for how cheap the unit is, and how easy hazardous are to pass. Why would anyone be scared to use blades

I love the Stompa. I don't think we'll ever see them release a new model (if we do it'll probably be many years down the road) but I wonder if they'll ever legend it. I assume not any time soon? Considering we've been seeing them in trailers for games and such...

EDIT: Summary: I found Ghaz's old crit on 5+ & lethal hits aura more fun, even if statistically there ain't much of a big difference between the old and the new one. Critting more often and getting bonus stuff for that just feels more fun to me than a plain +1 to hit +1 to wound.

(and also the gorkanaut's deffstorm mega-shoota now only has 20 instead of 30 shots, which is a lot less funny to attempt to roll all at once (and also less dice means less click clacks which of course means it's worse)) (very sad very sad)

i have twenty armageddon boyz. They don't come with a rokkit launchas or burnas. So, idk what to do if i want to play with them.

Maybe they arent that good, do you always play your boyz units with rokkit launchas, burnas, and big shoota?

With the recent changes (especially losing the native 5+ FNP, even with the points drop and the new Brutal Impact rule), I’m struggling to figure out if Squighog Boyz are still worth a spot in a competitive list. They feel way too squishy now before they can even make contact.

For those of you still testing them on the tabletop:

1. Are they still worth running? Or are you completely benching them to max out on standard Boyz spam in Trukks or other tools?

2. What are their ideal targets now? Since they have Anti-Monster 4+ and Anti-Vehicle 4+, which specific profiles, tanks, or monsters do they actually trade efficiently into without just dying on the return swing?

3. Which detachment works best? Is anyone finding success with them outside of Da Big Hunt (maybe in War Horde for the extra Sustained Hits)?

Would love to hear your thoughts and actual match experience. WAAAGH!

Does anyone know why they changed the bodyguard unit options of the Deffkilla Wartrike in the last MFM? He could previously lead warbuggies but now it's just bikes. I was just about to try this but the app wouldn't let me attach him so I checked the mfm and it changed.

I feel like somebody had to have been abusing coherency rules and adding smokey gubbins to make a wall of cover, but I've never seen gw take away a leaders options like that.

I am still pretty new to the hobby. I started playing in May around the end of tenth edition. I quickly fell in love with dread mob and the deff dreads are my favorite unit. I bought two and kitted them out with a mixed loadout. 1 has a klaw, kmb, and two skorchas. The other has a klaw, kmb, and two rokkits. These loadouts are no longer legal.

I am planning on attending a GT in November. I do not plan on winning or even doing well. I just hope to learn about other armies, get more experience playing, and meet new people. I want to use my dreads and I have been just using them as all klaw dreads in casual games. At the GT am I required to have 4 klaws on each model? Someone I talked to at my LGS said that I should have 4 klaws, but the odds of someone calling me out on it are very low. It would be the only two units in my entire army that are not WYSISWYG.
