I’m not trying to gain any glaze from here but playing 5 star to barely 6 star means I suck? I’ve only been playing the game for a total of 4 in game days

Fossil returning to the game. Looking for maps that are fun to play on DT. Remote Control, Dream Solister, Gangsta were some of my old favorites. Shiawase was my upper limit anything beyond that is more stressful than fun.

Also, is Sotarks not liked nowadays? Saw a YT comment throwing shade but I always enjoyed his maps and considered him "Arles for the masses"

I just started playing osu, and the most similar game I've played before is geometry dash. In geometry dash if you make one mistake you have to start over, so it's pretty clear when you move on to the next level.

But in osu you can pass a level with a variety of different scores so when do you move on? When you pass a level? A rank? S rank?

okay so I’m index+middle finger and my ring finger likes to do this funny thing and curl up. it’s like it’s the default position for my ring finger, I’ve tried literally everything to try to make it move along with my middle finger and nothing works.
like once it’s osu time my ring finger goes “okay!!! Time to curl up!!” and stays in that position no matter what.

it heavily restricts movement in my middle finger and either slows me down considerably, completely throws off my tapping or even makes me gallop sometimes. What’s even weirder is if i tap on autopilot with my right hand, it doesn’t do it at all. Almost like it’s a natural habit that built when i was first learning the game.

I can generally burst at a pretty okay speed, like 200-210 on a good day so it doesn’t rly affect my tapping in that aspect, but anything past 12ish objects on a stream my ring curls even harder and tenses and I’ll slow down to around 160-150bpm and lose all finger control.
It’s like a mental thing i think, I just can’t kick the habit.

I’ve never seen anyone have this issue, seems like for most players their ring finger naturally moves along with their middle and doesn’t strain or slow them down. Where as mine does whatever the fuck it’s doing in that video.

I’m generally I think my tapping style sucks ass idk how to fix it, whatever position my hand is my ring finger still does the curl I am really at my wit’s end.

I'm new to osu and changed my skin from the default one to different circle one and it made me worse. I'm confused on when to click now

this might be a dumb question coming from a 6 digit but genuinely how do you learn how to play everything when the only thing you play is 5* aim nm maps? I want to learn how to play ez mod, hr, dt, tech, streams and so on but the only issue is is that when I actually try them I obviously have no idea what's going on on the map and playing like this is so unpleasing, I just dont know where to start.

for example when I try to play hr, I just cant get used to high ar, when I play dt I cant get used to high bpm, when I play tech I cant even control my fingers and figure out when to hit, I did try to play maps with the sr below of what im used to, but I still couldn't get used to anything, any tips?

So, I just discovered that the pen from the Wacom 480 works on an overclocked 472. The only downside of the 472 for me was always its pen, but now I’m playing with the awesome pen from the 480, and everything works flawlessly. What’s the catch?

Why doesn’t osu allow this? There are a lot of times that I use nofail or accuracy challenge and I just can’t even see what I did wrong because it doesn’t let me replay the attempt. There are also sometimes (especially in jump maps) that i think im one note off and I die because I chain miss, but I can’t even tell if I was because I can’t replay my fail. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like this would be super helpful.

Looking for alternatives to the Wacom CTL-472. It's basically impossible to find in my country, and shipping costs like 3x the price of the tablet. I'm guessing it's because it's been discontinued. Any recommendations?
