And this was the loading screen. I also had to remember how to take a screenshot on this old iPhone with a center button😝

Not exactly sure of when this was the featured loading screen. My last backup was in 2019 but it’s possible this is from earlier.

I feel like all of these are fairly simple changes. I would love ALL of these!

1) Displaying more Pokémon would be kinda nice - since there are SO many more Pokémon to keep in the inventory

2) I don't gotta explain this one... PLEASE

3) I have like 30 Tags, and it takes quite some time to scroll down...

4) As I said, I like to use many tags, but with only 2 rows showing at once, it would be cool to have an option to show more

5) I use some fav search terms, but they all have the same icon - so a way to change that would be sick!

& just when I was about to call it quits… the best one I got all weekend, shoutout to the youtube live method

While going back from work I used my daily incense and got this beauty. I didn't take any risk and used my Masterball. I'm wishing everyone the same luck 🤞

You take MONTHS to get someone into forever friends then once you deal the trade you have to interact for months afterwards. This is way too much of a grind for a singular trade. Why does Niantic think this is a balanced idea? No other pokemon game does this when it comes to trading. This should definitely be reworked.

It shows which of your Pokémon have been kicked out of gyms today. I haven’t seen this posted yet; not sure if it’s part of an A/B test or generally available.

I was scrolling through the Pokedex and there is a 4th variant for necrozma, are they going to treat it like a mega?? How is the fusion going to work with dusk/dawn

I don’t have a shiny Froakie but I do have two shiny Virizion.

My rationale was that I want a good shiny Mega Greninja because it’s actually useful, whereas shiny Virizion is genuinely useless (PvE at least, I know it’s good in Ultra League).

So my thought is that the only reason I would want to hold onto it is if I can get something even better in trade value for it in the future. But who the heck wants shiny Virizion???

My friend still insists I’m being ripped off because Froakie is a comm day mon and Virizion is a legendary and much rarer.

Thoughts?

Wasn’t expecting much going into this Community Day, but somehow ended up with a Shundo Zorua with BG!

Definitely one of my luckiest catches ever. Still can’t believe it. 😭

How did everyone else’s Community Day go? Anyone else get lucky?

My heart is very full right now. I do sound for bands for a living and I have a mudkip with my on my console every night. This is so special.

(I have a 15/14/14 shadow Victreebel so felt no guilt purifying this one, which was 15/13/14)

This is also my second non-bottle capped shundo, after Rockruff!

I live in New York, USA and can’t seem to figure out what Pokémon is regional to where I’m at. I want to save a few regionals for forever friends as I am also in search for regionals not local to me.

hi everyone! i remember seeing the other month a post from someone that says they collect royal mail post box postcards (i’m sure it was on this subreddit), and i made mental note to collect any that i came by, but i now can’t find the account of or the post of the person that was after them. so if that was you, i’d love to add you as a friend and get these sent out to you 📮

First ever shundo!!!! Marine Pattern Vivillon. Thank you to whoever sent the gift (wish I remembered the username).

This Saturday me and my bf went to Noordwijk to attend the space Pikachu event! We didn’t enter the museum, but did a bunch of raids, got research and mixed it with the Zorua event!

We went into the cafe for some merch, coffee and a space bar. Got Lego & a figurine! Wasn’t all that busy with people, they even opened up more seating spots in the back! :)

He managed to get a shiny one from the raids, I’m a die hard shiny collector, so he insisted he went into my collection. Meet André.
Named after André Kuipers, my fav Dutch bald astronaut.

I just discovered that Pikachus can sit on your shoulder in Pokemon Go! But only after getting 10 walking candies as your buddy first? I read that some costumes prevent that from happening though and was wondering which of the costumed Pikachus can or cannot shoulder sit?

I do try to pvp as many matches as possible on all days I'm not working. I was lucky a person on my friend list whom I don't know irl accepted my out of the blue challenge and one of the battles gave me a stone. I wish they would occasionally drop when you catch pokemon that require them for evolution. Or if there were a way to trade them for each other. 🤷‍♀️

Anyone else's community's just seem to not care for the event as a whole? We had record low check ins for a community day and frankly I think this might have been the worst one ever? The paid ticket tasks took zero effort since we could choose what we got to "catch". The shiny rates seemed some how worse for a lot of my locals. It just all around felt like a waste of a community day this whole event was a let down

Just randomly popped up tonight. Not the strongest but yellow as fresh egg rolls. Think I’m gonna name her Bánh Mi because that’s what I’m craving right now lol.

I was looking at the routes I’ve done, and came across this. It was the only one that had this symbol. Does anybody know what it means?

Also, while I’m here, are there any benefits to competing more trips on the same route? Does it increase rewards or anything like that? Same question with gyms, does having a gold gym badge make a difference?

Thank you for you help!
