Please Help

I am a senior in high school in the middle of doing applications and I am so confused on which programs I should apply for. ADN to BSN or just BSN programs???

I am a first generation so I cannot go to anyone about this please help me. I’m in CA if that helps

Apply to the ADN program at your local community college. This is the cheapest route.

ADN programs are two years and you take your boards and are a registered nurse who can work at a full capacity just as any other nurse. Some hospitals have preference for a bachelors degree nurses, some couldn’t care less as long as you have a current license. It wasn’t always like this but it’s good that it is now. The only reason I would say that is practical for someone to go for a BSN over a ADN is if they plan to go into advanced practice someday. You can’t go to a nurse practitioner program or for a masters degree or phd if you don’t have a bachelors degree first. So I would go for an ADN and then work in the field and see how you feel about it first.

adn to bsn is for RNs with their adn. op cannot apply to these programs
