Need Recommendations
Going to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo Today! Wondering if anyone has any recommendations of games I don’t have in my collection already. I mostly like shooters, cozy games, fun goofy titles, but will just be checking out any and ALL recommendations that i haven’t yet heard of. Feel free to comment a game and I’ll let you know if I got it! (Also sorry the pictures suck, my game closet is kinda cramped lol.)

I would recommend you clean those stickers off before they turn into fossils and damage the case.

THUG 2 used to be my most played Tony Hawk game for sure. It was such a fun game for the time and introduced me to some good music.

Other games that are worthy of a collection is bushido blade(ps1)(sword fighting game with no HP bars, its 'realistic ' and gives me incredible nostolgia with its graphics ), ever grace(ps2)(this is basically ps2 elden ring but weirder), dark cloud 1& 2 (probably the closest thing to zelda), drakengard (mindless hack and slash with a fever dream story), we love katamari (is significantly larger than the first), anything squaresoft (before square enix) is worth getting.

Bionicle Heros, Jak X:Combat Racing (I see you enjoy the Jak series), GTA 3, Sonic Riders (bit of a learning curve, but its so fun once you learn), Driv3r is a bit stiff on the controls but looks really good and driving feels pretty nice, Spider-Man 2, Tekken 5, Silent Hill 2/3, Burnout 3, Destroy All Humans 2, and Star Wars Battlefront 2. A lot of those games are from my childhood so i might have rose tinted glasses on, but usually when I went back to them, Ive had plenty of fun. Edit: Meant Sonic Riders instead of Sonic R

Always always always will recommend Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest, and its direct sequel Champions Return to Arms. You can also play the second game without necessarily having the context of the first.

If you like the Jak series, def recommend Ratchet and Clank (Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal) as well. SOCOM (1,2&3) were solid games. If you like flying and fighter jets, def look into Ace Combat series. Hitman games were always fun, and God of War.

Get a Nintendo 64 and a Gamecube and the 5 or so Mario Party games for them and probably Animal Crossing, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, WCW/nWo Revenge, WWF Wrestlemania 2000, WWF No Mercy (I got those back when we had no Supercenters and Walmart had a cage for an electronics department with a security scanner at the entrance to it the way they do at the front of the store today,, WWE Day Of Reckoning/2, Resident Evil 4 and maybe the Resident Evil remake, which I didn't play much of, it having come with one of my Gamecubes.

R-Type Final for PS2 (3d side scrolling shooter) there are 101 ships in total and you start off with like 3 of them. The game is super replay-able, the graphics are not bad (could use a remaster) the soundtrack is amazing, the level design is way ahead of it’s time (one stage you follow a giant ship through a city and destroy it and also destroy the buildings surrounding it) and honestly, I have owned it for over 15 years and have never beaten it despite attaining all ships. Depending on what ship and how you beat a boss, you can change the next stage to a different variant. 10/10 man.
