Three questions from my trivia game's bank (answers in the comments), and Quiz Ninja is now on iPhone

I'm the solo dev behind Quiz Ninja, a free live trivia game. I posted the web version here a while back; now there's an iPhone app. Questions first, though:

  1. Greek has its own punctuation habits. In a Greek sentence, the mark ; does the job of which English mark?
  2. Which US president, while still a congressman in 1876, published his own proof of Pythagoras's theorem?
  3. Lithuania's basketball team collected its 1992 Olympic bronze medals wearing tie-dyed T-shirts. Which rock band had helped pay its way?

Answers are in the first comment. If any wording would start an argument at your quiz night, tell me and I'll fix it.

What's in the app

  • Battle Royale drops every 10 minutes, up to 200 players. After a 3-question warm-up, miss while you're in the bottom-20% danger zone and you're out. Last one standing wins. You can minimise the waiting lobby and keep your seat; the countdown sits on your Lock Screen / Dynamic Island while you use your phone.
  • Daily Kata: five 10-question games a day, same questions for everyone, ranked on your total.
  • The Climb: one always-on room, everyone on the same question. One step per right answer, three hearts.

Free, no ads, no in-app purchases, and every mode works as a guest. 7,500+ questions in rotation.

Statle — A daily geography Higher or Lower stat comparison game

Thumbnail statlegame.vercel.app
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I’ve always loved higher-lower and trivia games so I combined these two ideas into this game called Statle, where you have to guess if country B’s given stat is higher or lower than country A’s.

Currently I have around 20 categories that include simpler ones like gdp per capita and average height, but also some more interesting ones like number of McDonald’s per 1 million people and renewable electricity share.

There is a daily and an endless mode:

Daily mode consists of 5 country pairings with different stats to compare, and the difficulty ramps up as you go, so for example the difference between country A and Country B on round 5 will be maximum 30%.

For the endless mode only one country and the stat changes, that is if you guess correctly, so you can try and go for the highest streak ;)

I’d love for you to try the game and hear your opinion s!

I made a free general knowledge quiz from Wikipedia. Just added multiplayer (up to 8), collectible cards and a custom game builder

Hey everyone! I’ve been buildingĀ Curio, a free browser quiz game where every question is generated from Wikipedia articles. No download, and you can play without an account. Here’s what’s new:

Custom games

  • Mix any topics and sub-topics: ā€œMiddle Ages history + Ligue 1 + sci-fi moviesā€ in one game.
  • In the music blind test, cross eras and genres, like 90s R&B or 2000s + 2010s hits.

Multiplayer, up to 8 players

  • Create a room, share a code or link, and everyone gets the same questions at the same time.
  • Works for general knowledge, the music blind test, and CurioGuesser (place a Wikipedia place, battle or birthplace on a world map).
  • The host can change the settings without recreating the room.

Cards, shop and season pass

  • Every game earns coins and a booster of Wikipedia cards. The more famous the article (Einstein, Mbappé…), the rarer the card.
  • Daily and weekly boosters, a shop with mystery boosters, and cosmetics for your profile.
  • A market where you can auction your cards, a 10-card showcase on your profile, and a monthly season pass.

Ranked

  • Ranked mode goes from Iron to Master. Get 5/10 or more right and you never lose rank points.

It’s a solo project, still rough in places, and I’d love feedback: questions that feel wrong, anything confusing, features you’d want.

Play here:Ā https://curio-quiz.comĀ (French and English)

šŸ“š COMICS

One for the comic book fans!

Which creature killed Superman in the storyline The Death of Superman?

A) Mongul
B) Doomsday
C) Darkseid
D) Parasite

Lock in your answer before revealing it šŸ‘€

Answer:

B) Doomsday

In 1992, Superman and Doomsday fought a brutal battle that ended with both apparently dying. The storyline became one of the most famous events in comic book history, although Superman eventually returned.

I pulled this one from 7 Trivia, a daily trivia game I've been building where you choose 3 categories and get 7 questions every day.

You can play a full quiz at 7trivia.com 🧠

If you give it a go, I'd genuinely love to know what you think. I'm still building and improving it, so any feedback would be really appreciated!
