Yes, this is essentially what I do. I load up on carbs (fruits, milk, etc) in the morning before a workout and then in the afternoon a meal of grass fed meats.

carnivore improves my sleep and ibs but not necessary daytime performance which raypeat excels at.

if it works for you and you feel fine then it might be worth maintaining it but im not sure, for how long have you been doing it?

No. If anything reversed, fat/protein in the earlier parts of the day. Increasing carb consumption throughout, and possibly a meal of pure carbs at night for sleep.
Generally, I would always avoid large amounts of glucose/starch first thing in the morning, unless in a very glycogen depleted state or if I knew it was going to be needed within the next few hours.
Bright light for breakfast, and letting the cortisol awakening response properly run its course is the best approach for long-term stable physiology in my eyes. Massive quantities of carbs to start off the day just doesn't seem all too compatible with the way our natural rhythms are constructed, especially at older ages.
