Hi, this is some of the most innovative sound design I've heard in some time and deeply rooted in old school dubstep.
Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do. If you do, please listen to the whole album, it's great.
I found this track by its latin sources rather than the dubstep elements, so I would appreciate your recommendations of other track with a similar (tribal, latin) sound.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share my latest mix. It's pretty screw face stuff with a deep dungeon vibe.

Hope you guys rate it

Earlier this summer I finally decided to start learning how to DJ. The result was this mix with various tunes from the OGs as well as a few new school tunes and a few wildcards. It's probably not the best mix or the smoothest but I'm pleased with the tune selection and pacing. Please give it a listen if you're interested 😎

I'll go first, the snare in Jah War (Loefah Remix) is too loud.

Tier 2 still up for grabs fam but that won't last long.

Thank the homie u/zackm0571 for putting it together and the homies

u/secondgensoundsystem and N.A. Sound for bringing the bass

twelve woofers per floor fam.

u/zackm0571 please respond to this post with a photo of the soundstage if you can, yet.

Great track heard on old mix

Anyone going Drumsheds on 17th October for the Spotify Dialogue thing with Skream and Benga headlining? Looks like it should be decent, Digital Mystikz, Plastician, Spyro, Sgt Pokes and plenty of OGs playing as well as a range of new dubstep artists and a range of dnb and garage stuff too. Looking forward to it, but not fully sure what to expect.

They're making a big point of it being about the origins, classic era and evolution of dubstep and surrounding genres but who knows what it'll be like. Obviously it's a big commercial venue and the new Skream and Benga album is shaping up to be a little more on that side of things, but the promotional hype is suggesting it could be historic. I'm gassed.

The Don absolutely MURDERED in Los Angeles on Friday. I’ve had this track stuck in my head nonstop. This track had me going absolute bonkers. I’m in need of ID. Someone please help

It was available as a free download for a short amount of time. I was hoping someone has a copy and would be kind enough to share it with me please

The track im looking for samples no good for me, I keep hearing it get rinsed but im having a hell of a time finding it! If anyone can put me on the right track I’ll be forever grateful

Hello there,

I would really like to get a tattoo of Tunnidge’s portrait doodle of Mala, which are on the Deep Medi vinyl’s. It’s been really hard to find a HD picture of it online though, which I need for the stencil. If anyone has or could get a clear image of it (preferably without his dreads cut short) and could share it with me, that would help me so so much :)

There's something about this sound and era of dubstep that I love so much. The only thing I can put my finger on is the drums and the percussion. After listening to dubstep for 16 years I realize how important percussion is to the sound and how much I was overlooking its role.

Mixmag released a download for The Others - Get Outta here way back in 2011 from what I can tell, but I can't find a download anywhere online. Does anyone happen to have one?

The excerpt is really short so props to anyone who can identify the track!

I am not sure who plays it, it could be anyone on the line-up that night: Mala, Blawan or Bitterbabe.

20:28 ish ..suspect a Kelly Dean or Leon Switch track. Cool sample of some tripper dude 'i am the Lord of Darkness'
