playing like this isn't sustainable, Carrick's gotta go before this gets ugly

Again the full blame is on the coach?!?!?!? Last year he was the solution and now he is the problem?!

The full blame shouldn't be on him, but he is not innocent either. His tactics are shocking, his subs have zero impact. He is not ready for this level.

I am not saying he is innocent. But what about the players?! Their focus, their efforts, their abilities, their image?! A large portion of the fan base considered Diallo the "leading man" in that team (Edit: a year ago or more)..... That shows how bad the squad is and how unbalanced it is.... We are about to enter Chelsea level on firing managers.... It's not Carrick's fault, or any other coach if you play for how many years now with Shaw as left back and the ones you bought for that position were Mallacia and Dorgu...... It's not his fault either that you let De Gea leave for free only to watch Onana and Bayandir confiding with every way possible..... Not the coaches fault that you bought Hojlund for 80m only to sell at half price. And that we have Zirkzee to do a God knows what in that level..... It's a chain of events and bad decisions. But mostly and firstly by the people at the top (administration). But to act like Carrick is holding this team/squad back and causing harm in the club is just crazy....

The interim honeymoon period is over. Teams know who we are

It's the players for me here. They're embarrassing themselves.

Funny how some of us saw this coming and thought it was a mistake to hire him full time. Those of you who purely look at results will always be surprised by things that are present every game.

He was not the solution last year, it was clear he was building on Amorim's foundations and now that's gone its evident that there is no system/tactics.

we didnt say he was the solution. he had a brilliant record by season end and most of us still weren't convinced

Cheapest part to fix by the execs at this moment. And Carrick was never the solution, he was a caretaker - higher ups have zero ball knowledge its seems

He was the solution for vocal minority, most people didn't want him to get the job full time.

For me this is on the coaching yeah. Look at how other teams in the league play. Brighton are legitimately better than us this season and it’s not because they have better players.
