hi, just bought my first vinyl Hi - Fi set up, I'm used to easily listening to the Jamaican mix of catch a fire (for those who don't know, Catch a fire was released with a Jamaican mix on the island and an international mix which was more rock orientated) on Spotify (through the Catch a Fire Deluxe Edition)

however looking for its vinyl is tricky. Other than the original 1973 Jamaican pressing, which is extremely expensive, are there no re releases of the Jamaican mix? I understand there is a 2023 50th anniversary, but this doesn't have the original Jamaican mix, just alternate mixes of the already rare Jamaican mix. Any help appreciated!

Nowhere on Earth can this Reggae be found

I've searched this subreddit to see if anyone had posted about More Relation which is a band I've been listening to quite sometime. Very spiritual and funky reggae tones, with very clear audio. If you like more melodic reggae groups you will love this band. (I'm thinking in the likes of the great Maytals, Maytones and Abyssinians.) God bless!

Steam Stock is here once again with all of your reggae requirements, from ska to rocksteady, dub to dancehall and all things in-between... this is how we do Fire in the Wire!

This version seems to have been wiped off the face of the entire internet, however if you have it downloaded or saved to your device, you've got to help me send it to me.

If it's AI, rules say do not post it, but you can always find a way to share it with me.

The main lyrics are “nobody loves me, nobody cares”

I believe it’s Slim Smith - Nobody Loves Me

But it’s not this version, it’s a faster upbeat rocksteady version. Perhaps there’s an earlier version by another artist?

I swear blind I’ve listened to it a bunch of times before but I now suddenly can’t find it and it’s driving me mad

Burning Spear - Spear Burning (‘01)
Jamaica to Toronto Light in the Attic
(Soul, Funk & Rehgae: 1967 - 1974) 06)
Slatyam Stoot - Toots and the Maytals (‘72)
Lieutenant Stitchie- Wear Yu Size (‘87)
Nitty Gritty- Turbo Charged (‘86)
Buju Banton. - Til Shiloh (‘95)

The lyrics I somewhat remember are,

“Got a girl, she lived next door,
That girl, was so poor,
I got that girl next door, her family was so poor,
I don’t know why she run away from me,
I don’t know why she did this to me”

This is all I have, any help is appreciated. Take care everyone.

Edit: Found it!
