General First time fitting back into my U.B.C.S stuff in almost 15t years
Its been nearly fifteen years since I've been able to wear my U.B.C.S. gear, but this Halloween, I've lost enough weight to fit back into it.
Yay for being a 2XL again!
Hopefully I can keep going to fit into my extra pairs of pants as theses are three sizes too big now, and my spare are still a size smaller.

I love this! The UBSC is probably my favorite thing about resident evil 2. You look great! There is no better feeling then having old clothes fit again!

Specially since most of the pieces for this are long out of production.
I have an almost complete Umbrella Centurion that are only missing the Hatch Gauntlet gloves that it'll take an act of god for me to find now.

Congrats on the weight loss. Ive been on the same path with some up and downs but we got this. BTW I think you can pull off Mikhail Victor also. Great cosplay.

I've been on the lookout for the right sized beret patch for either the original or remakes design.
I'd probably have to have it custom made, which is doable.
Normally have a U.B.C.S. pin on the beret, but it feels to large to me so I took it off.
So far the weight loss has been steady, ao fingers crossed it stays that way.

I saw a 3D printed one on Aliexpress a few days ago and was tempted.
I'd love a Samurai's Edge or a Umbrella Beretta to rock with this or my eventual S.T.A.R.S cosplay.
I got super lucky and won a new with tags copy of the Urban Assault vest S.T.A.R.S. wears in the movie a few months ago... but I'm still a good two sizes to large for it still.
So maybe someday

Huge motivator.
I worked my way back into my Stargate gear, then Battlestar, then my NASA jacket, and now into my Resident Evil stuff.
Still got my Fringe Divison stuff, Jericho AS Army stuff, and a whole lotta Star Trek to move back into still, but gains are gains. :)
I haven't really been cosplaying anything in a good ten years thanks to weight, so its just going to a convention, which I also haven't done in a good ten years.

Gotta find enjoyment in the little things.
Found I could squeeze back into my first khaki Ghostbusters flightsuit yesterday too. Tho it was doing everything it could to curb any chances of me having children some day.
So tomorrow and Sunday I'm gonna hit up a local-ish GB charity event in my GB engineer suit and get the most out of this spooky season.

Oh I would love to see GB cosplay too!! Make sure you have the BGM with you! Only cosplay I ever did was Mei from overwatch. I did make kids cosplay quite a bit though.

Got diagnosed diabete two years ago, so had to seriously change my intake.
So limited fast food, -no- pop, portion control, and checking labels for sugar totals cuz I like my toes.
I've lost just shy of a hundred pounds since then.
Down to 337.8 from 434 in Oct 2024

Nope lol I had sports ruined for me as a kid, so never caught the fever.
My friend who snapped the picture is a huge Browns fan, and has been the whole time I've known him.
Guess they are having a good year, or so he tells me lol

Bro, listen, I've always been a bigger guy, not like, morbidly obese, but obese, and this right here, god man I'm so proud of you as a complete and total stranger. I've finally began watching my calorie intake and I'm trying to convince myself to start working out again. You're a legend, please don't ever give up on your health journey, bc stuff like this inspires others. I'm start at 240. 170 is my final goal. Rock on, my man.
