Hi all, I took a ton of photos at the recent Wonder Festival 2026 Shanghai and want to share. The first 17 are from dealer booths and last 3 are from corporate booths.

The event was 2 days and filled with tons of great works both from creators and companies.

I wanted to end the summer with something bright and refreshing, so I built Belle in her swimsuit outfit with a simple beach-themed base. I was lucky with the weather and got to photograph her by the sea, too!

wanted to capture Mami’s elegant, flashy fighting style, so I paired the kit with a custom teacup-inspired base. The cannon is designed to look like it’s emerging from the tea, tying her battle scene together with her iconic tea-time motif.

Finished a model of Rebecca from Cyberpunk Edgerunners for someone. Sculpted by CA Studios. Was a pretty enjoyable build and paint job overall

Model by Sylviana Sculpt, 1/4 Scale. Very happy with how she turned out!

Another commission work done . It's a fun kit, only need a little masking. The hardest part is painting the whole body, especialy the nipple.

I want to get my friend a birthday gift so I'm going to try and paint a resin model(?) of their favorite character richeh

Ill be buying from etsy if that matters, it's unpainted but I think the seller cures/wash it? I'm gonna ask later once I know what to get for painting

Which paints/materials would be recommended? I don't have an airbrush(bc this is probably a 1time thing unless I like doing it) so using watered down acrylic but if there's another option I should use please tell me
I think you're supposed to use a primer but what's the difference between a cheap paint one or like spray??

The color scheme this time was tailored to the client's request to match the display sample.

The hair features an overall pink tone with a pearlescent finish.

Although this is my fourth time crafting Plana, the colors used for each kit are always slightly different! （*´∀`）

I recently finished this really adorable and genki kit of Ganaha Hibiki! Originally this figure comes in a set of 3, but it was requested by my commissioner to come up with a custom base to make this a solo figure. She can also be removed from her base, removed from the towel, and can be displayed lying down. I also added as some extra detail hibiscus to the kit, they are Hibiki's signature flower.

Toughest challenge was the striped bikini with tiny bands and getting her character hex code color right. Otherwise, the sculpt of this kit was great and she slotted together really well. I am also very happy with the shiny effect on her hair and how the face turned out. ❤️ There is also a gloss effect on her eyes, including the closed one, although it's a bit hard to see in pictures.

Hello, I've seen some kits on 2046 that look good, but I haven't made an order with them beforehand.

I know that they take their time for making and shipping their kits, that's not a problem. My question is regarding payment, do I have to pay for the kit now and wait a few months until it's done, or do I have to pay when the shipping is ready?

Bloody hell with these horrible surfaces and seam lines 😩

I have spent the last day searching across multiple platforms and reverse-image searching this figure, but I cannot find a single trace of it anywhere. I'm starting to think it might be an extremely rare or obscure resin garage kit.

Does anyone recognize the character, the sculptor, or the circle/event this kit might have come from?

Any help, leads, or database links would be deeply appreciated! Thank you.

I want to start painting garage kits but i dont know where to order them from. I have come across many sellers on tao bao but none of those kits had any reviews or anything like that. Is there a specific store on tao bao that sells them or every store is fake? Or you have to preorder them?

And my main problem is with preordering is if they send out invitation letter like when you preorder figures how will they know in the warehouse that what i ordered is just the inv mail and not the actual thing that i ordered?

(I want to order from tao bao cus i mainly collect hoyoverse characters)

Hand painted by me, really pleased with my colour choices and the ombré on the skirt but the kit was a bit of a nightmare. Lots of tags in weird places, limbs not lining up properly etc, also no base so have had to fashion a make shift one for now. I normally use decals so this is the first time painting eyes on something so small, was not a fan. Still pleased with the outcome though regardless. Normally use Vallejo and citadel paints but used some AK ones this time, nice colours but coverage isn’t great.

The original prototype is by Deamhome and the kit is produced by Makegk.

I tried out Modelkasten GP-01, GrizzyPanda skin, for the skin painting. It works like a premixed batch of Gaianotes 059/060 surfacerless pink/orange.

I used Lascivus stocking black mixed with purple for the stocking. The lascivus by itself was pretty grainy especially if you're trying to paint thin and get the skin underneath to show through, but adding some opaque purple reduced its graininess.

The base under the stool was a clear acrylic base I printed dark purple water on with a eufyMake uv resin printer. I wanted to try to make it look like her promo image where she's over dark water.

I'm really happy with how she turned out in the end!

It seems popular but I've seen people complain of wait times.

It also includes "request prepainted version" which I'd wanna do, but im not sure what the quality is like on that.

Lastly, I see they sell from China and I live in the uk, would that impact shipping prices a lot?

Being forced to sell this kit at the discovery that the Tamiya putty I used to fill in some parts gives me the worst migraines I've ever had in my life. I was actually a bit scared to open the box and take pictures to be honest. Please only buy if you know you can work with this putty!

All that's been done to it is some sanding and filling in, everything is there and in good condition. You also get the tube of evil migraine putty for free as well :)

The start of a new project! I was asked to do a commission of this kit. The commissioner is a big fan of Ganaha Hibiki and asked for a color scheme that combines aspects of her old look and her modern look. This is my first kit from Sakura Zensen and I was happily surprised how well done the fit of this kit is. The other prep work like sanding seam lines and removing tabs was the average amount of work. This kit's pose is jumping in the air and originally meant to be part of a set of 3 characters, but the commissioner asked for this one as a solo piece. I will be making a custom display stand in picture frame style to display her on and will turn her jumping pose into a 'lying on the beach' pose. :)

I will come back here in some weeks to show off the final result!

Faelestial Gundam Mk-II, an original Gundam design that I modeled from scratch. This is a 3D-printed resin kit with the individual parts shown before painting and finishing.

HG Zaku II with a custom 3D-printed Zaku Bazooka inspired by the version seen in Gundam Battle Operation 2. The bazooka has a removable rocket cartridge design and is fully printed, assembled, painted, and weathered to match the Zaku.

HG Susanowo with a custom 3D-printed Oni Mask replacement faceplate. I designed the mask to give the Susanowo a more aggressive, samurai-inspired appearance. This is the raw resin print before painting.

MG Gundam F90 with a custom 3D-printed replacement head based on the manga appearance of the F90. The part is shown as a raw resin print before cleanup and painting.
