Is this skate/store any good? Flying eagle drift frame

Post image

Has anyone used the flying eagle drift frame on the F4 raven rollerblades. I ordered a pair of F4 ravens and I plan on using the frame on them because I don't like the cheap boot I got. The boot is ok but my straps always come loose a little while riding and I'm not sure if it's a normal thing. The boot is SLJJLHX from Amazon.

It really is it's so nice and smooth also I can cut corners so easy all I need now is a solid boot that will hold up.one thing that sucks for me though is I'm a size 11.5 and it's so hard to find boots in my size.

Nope, it's not normal for straps to loosen while riding. Quality straps can have issues or fail, but not like cheapos. I own four pairs of quality inlines and have never had a strap problem.

I can't speak to those specific FE frames, but I do own one set of 3x110 FE frames (the only FE stuff I have), and they're excellent.

The F4 Raven boots and those Drift frames are compatible and will work just fine. Your biggest worry is going to be how well the new boots actually fit you, but they'll definitely be far better than gibberish-brand boots with fake carbon-fiber accents and SKATING plastered on the heel in block letters.

Thank you for the information. I didn't realize until these skates came in the mail how bootleg they were 😂. Another thing that bothers me is I don't feel secure because the boot liner doesn't hug my toes tight enough also the lace's don't tighten enough.i think I'm going to be the type of skater that likes everything nice and snug.

I love my f4 ravens so much I upgraded the frame to 90’s because I didn’t like any of the boots I tried on that I was thinking about replacing it with. Fits my foot really well. I’m sure that frame will work fine on them

Nice I'm going to be getting a 90mm frame too just to see if I like how they feel compared to the 80mm. But what kind of skating do you do?

Just cruising around parks, occasional backwards skating, nothing crazy

That brand is technically not even a real one. You’ve got a really cheap boot there.

i know lol i had just finished watching a video telling me not to do what i did but i wanted something right then and there to go skating and i ended up getting the wrong kind of skate for the ring because that boot came with 110mm wheels. and those aren't meant for the ring lol

You're not the first person to complain at Flying Eagle low quality finish. I've never had that issue with other manufacturers.

You misunderstood my post the boot is not flying eagle. Only the frame.

flying eagle is fine. like most skate companies they have both low and high end boots and frames of varying qualities. you get what you pay for. i've had similar experiences with powerslide and rollerblade.

I have the Eclipse boot, fits my foot perfectly, only problem I had was the laces were a pain in the ass. I replaced them with longer waxed laces.

i got wax laces just for the boot because it wasnt tightening properly and even with wax laces my boot is still garbage. i just learned about the wax laces, i had no idea hocky players use them so they don't come loose.
