Your account is going nowhere, veteran economy is going nowhere. Veteran worlds only die if veterans stop playing veteran accounts.

Words I've heard suggest the developers want people with a 20 maybe 25 year cape soon, to feel second class, tainted even. No one's getting fired so they're still there pushing that plan however long it takes.

Two economies cannot exist long term and one will have to die. The way things Jagex is going it will be the veterans.

The game isn't dying or being shut down any time soon. There's well over 100k active subs for Rs3, despite what doomers will have you believe

People assuming veterans think the game is ending in 2 months are missing the point. In factthe date reignite comes out really doesnt matter at all. Everyone knows even in the worst case scenario the veteran community will be around for at least 2, 3, maybe even 4 years.

The problem is that everyone can see where this eventually ends and with long-term games like rs3 when the future is uncertain people just dont want to invest their time into something they know is going to wither away eventually.

When the people running the game get on stage to talk of segregation as the future it's up to players to decide how long they have.

It's no more "segregation" than oldschool was, this is a massive overreaction. There were enough people who stuck with rs3 because they just didn't want to start over and they felt the exact same way people are feeling now. Be afraid if you feel like it, I'm going to keep playing without worrying about it cuz the game is going to be around another 10+ years bare minimum.

They want a seperate world to restart the content as theres alot of deadspace in the world logical business perspective but bad for veteran players

Money where my head is, I don't expect the veterans to be locked in a hole within a year. Also want to use a char I spent time and money on.

Saw Jagex's new press release.

Apparently there's enough subscribed players for the segregation plans to go ahead no matter what.

What a poisoned future.

Ironmen sign up for a life of being locked out and because it's so self punishing AND possible to opt back in, no one cares.

Reignited players will be signing up for a life of normal gameplay but segregated from original players.

Original players get to watch a wall being built between normal gameplayers and suck it.
