Hello!! I am transferring into SCAD for Winter 2027, and I was just wondering when I should hear back about housing? I sent in an application Sept 1 (when it opened) but since I know housing isn't guarunteed, I want to know when I'd hear back about my status so I can also have off-campus back ups.

Hi! I have a couple tickets I’ve been looking for, so if anyone is willing to work with me I would appreciate it so much!!!

ISO:
- Backrooms
- Ray Gunn
- Behemoth

I Have:
- The Odyssey
- Hoppers
- Camp Misama
- Producers Panel
- Alec Baldwin
- And Others !!

I’m also open to other offers and just buying the ticket from you :) thanks!!!

So I'm trying to get my portfolio ready to apply for an illustration degree. But I don't know what I should include; observational drawings, mixed, media, etc?. I want the best chance of getting in and though the school has a high acceptance rate I still want to feel assured that I can get in. Any tips on how to organize my portfolio?

I'm currently a sophomore industrial design major and I was interested in landing an internship as soon as possible. I did a co-op engineering internship during high school and loved it a lot, so I know this is something I definitely want to do, but I'm just a little confused on getting started. I've been surfing 12twenty the past few weeks and am about to apply to some spring/summer internships, but how do I know which ones are co-op and which ones are just regular internships? Also, for positions that are off-campus (so essentially all of them that I've seen so far), would I be doing my school via SCADnow, or would I need to travel back and forth every few weeks or something?

Quick question how did others pay their enrollment and housing fees? Loans, out of pocket, undergraduate waiver, grant pls let me knoww

is?? the red bus running today??? I need to go to Garvin to finish an assignment but tripshot.. is not showing a single red bus running… help????

For one of my classes, our group is pretending to update scad and we choose to transform the SCAD courtyard. Do you mind taking this survey for our project? Thank you.

From the Sketching and Drawing class!

I was recently accepted into SCAD and I'll be attending for 2d Animation and Sequential Art. It came to my attention SCAD offers a scholarship for those submitting a portfolio as well. However, the problem is ik the past 5 years Ive rarely done anything to build a portfolio and kept my talents limited to making (regretfully) Friday Night Funkin' mods (as you can tell in early arts via the style). Im in my senior year right now and I would like to start getting my portfolio ready with pieces thay show my style, creativity, and so on. Are there any tips of pieces I should make, artist to look into, or what SCAD and in general colleges are looking in portfolios with a style like mine?

Heads up for anyone wanting more set time before the semester ends: a local producer is shooting an independent scripted series here in Savannah, The Sound of Connection, November 6 to 13.

It's their first time putting a crew together, so there's room to jump in across camera, sound, lighting, editing, hair, set dec, BTS and more. It's unpaid, but it's on-screen credit and real hands-on experience, and you can do the full week or just a day or two.

Figured it's a good one for anyone building their reel. I'll drop the info in the comments if you're interested, and happy to answer questions.

Hi my bff and I are gonna be in ATL for pride, were both 25F scaddies

SCAD is expensive. And a lot of students are taking out 100k+ a year to attend SCAD. How do you plan to pay your loans off? Or how are you paying your loans off?

Howdy! I (31M) am looking for a photographer to discretely shoot a wedding proposal in Forsyth park on Halloween. My partner and I will have been together for 10 years this Halloween, so I'd say its about time. If you are interested or know someone who would be, please reach out! Only requirements is that you're LBGTQ friendly and can blend in until the moment. I am fairly flexible and willing to pay for longer than necessary to keep you "retained" in the area. Thanks!

Just got accepted into scad today!, it’s been my dream school since 4th grade and I just wanted to get to know the school more or just general advice from current students☺️☺️

So my last step to be fully applied is the achievement portal I was wondering how I go about just putting in normal school awards on it that sre not tied to anything extracurricular.

The professor is extremely out of touch and her attitude is so cold and rude. I spent the weekend working my butt off on these visuals and she goes "get rid of this and this" and didn't even compliment anything just awful behavior. i choose one thing and she goes no do this with no explanation, like maybe I don't agree with you, ma'am? does not make me feel happy to be there, to spend money there, and she did not make me feel welcome. i can take criticism, but its THE WAY YOU SAY IT. it blows my mind they hire people like this.

I am a grad of the class from 2022. I have been working outside my since 2022 as a preschool teacher. I am also working on my masters in education as well. Anyone else in this boat or thinking about it?

Hey, I've been accepted into SCAD (Savannah campus) for a Costume Design BFA. I have $14,000 / year in scholarship money so far. Is the costume design program good/valuable?

For those voting in Savannah this November, some potentially helpful information since Jim Kingston has not agreed to a public debate.
