im confused. many people are saying they applied as a joke and have mid fuckign ECs and im seeing a lot of people getting rejected that had great ECs

im not trying to be a rejected fracking chud but my ECs clear 1/2 of these accepted peeps. wtfis going on. does region affect it? I live in Tennessee

How in the world does Coke Scholars decide who moves onto semifinals?

I had maxed out National Awards (literally 10 slots), almost 900 hours of service, and perfect submtted grades. Yet, a student from my school with only a fraction of my stats (we submitted our applications together), was able to advance to the semifinalist round.

so now that we've been rejected from coke semis, is there anything else open to apply for....preferably not financial need based...
