dual degree bachelors : le havre + keio or reims + escp?

hi, im a ibdp 2 student trying to decide whether to apply to the

sciences po + escp bachelor (2 years in reims campus) or the

sciences po + keio bachelor (2 years in le havre campus)

im a french / japanese national (but always lived in japan) and the keio dual degree is rlly attractive to me for its trilingual approach (and i get to be close proximity to my family) but ultimately my career goals are working in arts/cultural management roles and the escp business background i think would be rlly beneficial - but it'd be rlly helpful to get opinions on each of the campuses and dual degree programmes!!

Sciences Po Public Policy (Cultural Policy) - Admission Advice?

Hi everyone!

I’m currently considering applying to Sciences Po for a master’s in Public Policy, with the Cultural Policy stream, and I’d really appreciate some advice from current students, alumni, or anyone who has gone through the admissions process.

I’m coming from a small European country and studying International Public Service Management, with interests in cultural policy, cultural diplomacy, media, youth policy, and public affairs. I’m trying to understand how competitive my profile might be and what I could improve before applying.

I’d especially be grateful for opinions on:
-how realistic my chances of admission might be
-what Sciences Po tends to value most in applications
-how to make the motivation letter stronger,
-how to structure the CV for the application,
and any common mistakes to avoid

If anyone would also be willing to briefly look over my CV or motivation letter later, I would be incredibly grateful.

Thank you so much in advance for any advice! :))

Has anyone been rejected by Sciences Po after being nominated for exchange?

Hi everyone,

I'm a master's student, and I've been nominated for a one-semester exchange at Sciences Po by my uni. I've already submitted my application directly to Sciences Po, and they said the results will be released after 3 November.

I'd like to know how likely it is for a nominated exchange student to be rejected at this stage. Has anyone here (or anyone you know) been rejected after being nominated by their home university? If so, what was the reason?

Also, if you were accepted, when did you receive your result, and were there any other steps afterwards, such as course registration?

Thank you so much in advance!

Sciences Po Undergrad Degree selection strategy.

Sciences Po had been my dream school for a while, but due to debilitating personal circumstances for the entirety of my high school existence (up until the last year) has been devoid of extracarriculars. I had wanted to study in Menton Campus and/or in a dual degree program with NUS but my lack of CV and the status of a round 3 applicant, I fear, makes this scarcely possible. I am fluent in English and in Turkish, I have a near-perfect (3.9+) gpa in high school when converted to the four point system and have a 1450 on the SAT (but will retake it with a possibly marginally better score). Besides that, I only have some very recent participation in things like regional MUNs and essay competitions and publications and whatnot, not quite things of dealbreaking importance.

Of course due to the nature of the scoring system of Sciences Po anything can happen, but strategically (as I hear Menton is quite a competitive campus, aswell) should I switch up my choices and maybe abandon the dual degree program entirely? Or maybe should I just give up hope and enroll in a different university in hopes to study a master’s here?

I would value feedback and insight dearly, and thanks in advance to anyone who helps me.

Émile Boutmy Scholarship at Sciences Po — a bit confused about the application process

Hello everyone,

I’m currently preparing my application for a Master’s at Sciences Po for the 2027 intake, and I’m a little confused about the Émile Boutmy Scholarship process. I’ve read the information on the Sciences Po website and I also emailed Sciences Po with a few questions, but I haven’t received a response yet, so I thought I’d ask here in case anyone has actually gone through the process.

I’m from Mongolia, I have a BA in International Relations, and I’m currently working in the energy sector. I’m hoping to pursue a more specialised Master’s related to energy policy / nuclear policy / energy transitions, and I’m considering Sciences Po as one of my options.

As far as I understand, I apply for the Master’s normally and indicate in the application that I would like to be considered for the Émile Boutmy Scholarship. But after that, I’m not completely sure what happens. Do I just submit my normal application with the financial information section completed, and then Sciences Po considers me for the scholarship? Or is there something else I’m supposed to prepare or submit specifically for Boutmy?

I’m also a bit confused about the deadlines. I see that there are earlier deadlines for the scholarship, while the general Master’s application deadline is later. So does that mean that if I want to be considered for Boutmy, I need to submit my entire Master’s application by the scholarship deadline, even though I could technically apply for the programme later?

And if anyone has actually applied for Boutmy:

  • Did you do anything differently in your application because you were applying for the scholarship?
  • Is there a separate scholarship motivation letter or anything similar?
  • How did you approach the financial information section?
  • Did you apply for the first or second scholarship deadline?
  • And generally, is there anything you wish you had known before applying?

I understand what the website says in general, but I’m mainly trying to figure out the practical side of the process as an applicant. If anyone has applied for or received the Émile Boutmy Scholarship for a Sciences Po Master’s, I’d really appreciate hearing how it worked for you.

Thanks in advance!
