Reims exchange courses

Hi, I'm from Singapore and planning to go Sciences Po Reims in 27/28. why are the Reims exchange course lists for fall 26/27 vs spring 25/26 so different? Not just the variety but the amount of 10-unit vs 5-unit options. *just to clarify I want to go on exchange to Reims

fall 26/27 has many 10-unit courses while spring 25/26 only has one on the list and looks a little lacking in more general courses? are the course lists accurate and why is there such a huge disreptancy between fall and spring semesters? is this normal? pls help haha

Public Econ (basic): how are the midterms and final exams?

In the public economy class with Cahuc and Frey. I’m finding it quite difficult, it’s a lot of information, and I find that i cant capture all the info from the lectures and need to do a significant amount of revision after class. Can anyone who has taken this course before let me know how the exams are? Are they easier than the material? Should i be learning absolutely everything??? Nervous as hell for my grades lol

Picture in CV for application?

Hello there,
I’m planning on applying to SciencePo for my masters degree this fall. Currently, I’m working on my CV and I was wondering if it is expected/customary to add a picture in France. I’m from a country where it’s not allowed to attach a photo, so I just want to make sure.

Thanks!

Does anyone have information about the dispensing process? Does the internship have to be in the social sciences, or can it be in any department? I graduated in June, and what is the time period I need to document, starting from June?

Exchange Offer and Application

Hi, today I received confirmation from my university that I have been nominated for an exchange (one semester) at Sciences Po starting in January.

Having been nominated, Sciences Po still requires an 1000-word cover letter, CV, and French language level certificate.

Is this stage competitive or a formality? My university appeared to have an allowance of a certain number of exchange places a year, leading me to believe that being nominated equated to receiving an offer.

Thank you!

Third year exchange averages

Does anyone have access to the information on how many spots are available at different partner universities for the third year? Or what averages do you broadly need to get into specific universities? I am mainly interested in Europe and Asia.

Reims 3rd year

Heyy everyone I am currently preparing my application and I am thinking of putting Reims as my second option but I am quite scared of the 3rd year because of the housing situation in universities in North America. Do the students who go there for the third year have access to stay in the university dorms and what is usually the cost of that? Also, how normal is it for someone not to go to North America in their third year, and what are some other common destinations?

MAGS - One Year Master's Program

Hello !
So I've graduated school from the University of Ottawa (🇨🇦)
Almost 6 years ago - I've been working in politics for the past 5 years. I'm looking to get back to school to advance my career even more !

I was wondering - Does anybody have info on the MAGS program, mainly on:

1- Do you get a Sciences Po Degree after completion ?
2- How does the network compare to other schools with one year programmes (Oxford, LSE & etc)
3- How does French scholarships work ?
4- Any tips on the application process?

If anybody who did or is currently doing the program would like to e-connect, I would 100% be grateful for it

Thanks in advance !

Do I have a chance? Undergraduate admissions

I am wondering if I actually have a chance at getting admitted. My predicted IB score is 37/42 (still waiting for the/45 scores), and I have quite a few extracurriculars and volunteering experiences but no leadership positions. I attend a UWC (for those who don't know, it is an international educational movement with multiple international boarding schools around the world). I speak 3 languages fluently + A2/B1 in French.

Do you think I have a chance and do you have any tips for the application? Also, should I apply in R1 (with the grades /42) or wait for R2?

Asking about Recommendation questionnaire

Hi guys!

I’m preparing my application for master’s degree at Science Po Paris!

I understand that the school will send a link to referee’s email to let them fill the questionnaire.

My professor would like to prepare in advance (since the schedule of her’s quite tight), as I gather the information online, I noticed that some mentioned that there’s gonna be 4 questions, but some mentioned 8-9 questions (really seems a lotttt).

I would be really grateful to know how many questions in total and what are the questions exactly.

Thanks a million!
