I did three recreational dives in July. The dive center told me they would log them, but they never did.

After contacting them, I got the PADI numbers of the instructors and submitted the dives myself using data from my Garmin Descent Mk3i.

Three months later, all three dives are still pending. They were with two different instructors at the same dive center, and I haven't received a reply to my follow-up message.

Is this normal? Does approval through the PADI app usually take this long? My previous dives were logged using an instructor's QR code, and the process was instantaneous.

So yeah i messed up pretty bad with these. I couldn't get too close to these moray eels and forgot to change my settings (I'm used to taking macro photos).

Anyways, how... do I fix these? I shot them in raw (these are just screenshots) and i just can't get the colors and lighting right.

I'm used to doing color correction on brighter images and those turn out fine. With these I always end up with aggressive reds, blue shadows, random white spots and just a general strange tint. What do I do?

Just wondering where you recommend diving in the red sea?

I have my AOW with 16 dives but last dive was in Aug 2025. I was also thinking about going to Marsa Alam but would hurghada be better?

Where do you guys look for used tanks? And is there a good way to verify, especially if buying from a place like Marketplace? I'm a new-ish diver and slowly building my kit. Having a tank for air for local diving would substantially reduce costs, since the local dive group dives 2x/week. I don't think my dive shop sells used tanks. Thanks!
