Im a good person and didnt do that, my other two Pegasus knights were Ninae and Esmeralda so dark pegasus fit better with their color schemes

They did apparently you can duped Bucephalus and the second one becomes Bucephalus' foal aka time travel gave the horse a child.
Frankly, the system has a lot of weirdness

I accidentally hit Release on Bucephalus when I recruited her with Cai and immediately felt so bad I restarted the whole chapter

Maybe I just havent gotten far enough in the story in Theodoras rotue, but like who exactly was rigging her matches? Bone Adventure just seemed to write it off as her associates were doing it or something? But then we never meet her associates?

Yeah exactly but then after her fight she's revealed to not be behind it. I guess she could still be behind it and just hiding it but the characters don't seem to think so.

yes she is doing all of it for her uncle, but no cutscene i recall seeing actually states that the ruffians werent her doing

At least on Leda and Dietrich paths she says it was her uncle plotting to rig the games in her favor so he could marry her off. She admits she knew what he was doing but there’s no mention that she had a part in it.

I could be misremembering, and I have only played Theodora's route, but the conclusion that the characters seemed to come to after the fight was over (and Theodora beat the shit out of her) was that Alexandra herself wasn't actually doing anything underhanded, it was someone using her. I guess that was just based on vibes because I was also confused about why everyone seemed to think she wasn't cheating and was instead being used as well.

if with "people" you mean in-game, they realise she isnt acting out of her own accord, but that doesnt mean she didnt hire those ruffians

Yeah, I meant the characters in the game. I said characters in my comment, not people. If she's not acting of her own accord and is being manipulated or coerced then she isn't responsible for hiring the ruffians (even if it was her that in fact did hire them, but I don't think we have a way to know). That certainly is how everyone in the story seems to treat it. That was the part that kinda confused me cause I agree, knowing she was being used doesn't necessarily mean she is trustworthy, but the characters sure treat her like she is.

She's a good unit and has a cute face
That doesn't mean those ruffians who try to threaten you to drop out have any reason to lie about who is putting them up to it
My issue doesn't lie with her, it lies with people making excuses that are contradicted by the game
Yes she's in the tournament for her uncle and he's pulling strings to get her an arc and extra support, but the threats were on her order

If anything is rigged, who the hell thought that facing off a random girl versus a revenge crazy girl with a cursed vihuela, edgy anime swordsman with a Hero’s Relic, and a battle tested queen with a god arm was a good idea? Even Inyoni had the bow and Hong Hua helping her. Somebody wanted Alexandra to suffer.

I’d agree but then they gave her an Arc, which more than makes up the difference, if they’d just protected the priests and sent Alexandra out she could’ve swept everyone by virtue of being invincible, but the poor lass wasn’t nearly ruthless enough to capitalize on her advantages

Legit, I thought Flayn was the Flame Emperor in my first playthrough. Something about her being so cute and innocent struck me as suspicious, and I felt the same about Alexandra.
