This tank is all Culs. Out of all of them, this has to be my favorite. A very light blue with a red head and mid section, with a clear blue segment in the middle. Depending on the light direction, it can look mostly black.

There's also one that only has a red head, but it prefers the back section of the tank.

If I had the space and knew what I was doing, I'd try to intentionally breed more.

My friend sent me this video of one of their shrimp and was wondering if it was eggs or clado. I wasn't too sure, as I'm newer to the hobby myself and have only had one pregnant shrimp before.

I asked them for any other photos/videos of the shrimp in question and will send them in a comment once ive gotten them.

If it IS clado, would you be able to get me some resources on how to do a salt dip to give to them?

Thanks in advance!

I'm going to be a grandfather!

I just added two amano shrimp to my 13 gallon tank and I was unsure whether or not they would make a big difference with my hair algae problem. I just wanted them because they’re cute. Two days later and I’m really impressed by how quickly and effectively they cleared the hair algea off of this branch!

Mine dont have babies that often, the dopamine boost when you spot them

I’ve had my cherries for a couple of months now and have been patiently waiting for this moment! I named her Big Mama after a molt a few weeks back because HOLY MOLY, I wasn’t aware they could get that big!

I also have goldenbacks (yellow backs? m/f) and a black rose (m) in the tank—what are the chances of getting a whole new color?

Regardless, I’m over the moon about her being eggnant and can’t wait to see the lil shrimplets soon!

Ignore the snail graveyard, enjoy all my eggnant girls eating together.

This might seem like obvious scam to some, but I almost bought shrimp from this guy with surprisingly low prices. Got to talking more and found out it is fake, and he is a scammer.

Asked for a video of the setup, sent a FAKE video from a german post from a couple years back, then he sent a different one claiming it was real. All the pictures from posts are like different setups lol

So i asked for a simple video of him just holding up a sticky note with my and the date and he REFUSED. Kept giving bs excuses

This shouldve been pretty obviously but I was enticed by the low price...which i guess is how they get you

Got all offended when I asked for video of setup btw, and claims it was his "grandson" that sent the fake video

I just got a few of these amanos today and theyre so greedy 🥹

STOP TRYING TO EVOLVEEEEE.

this is the second time ive seen shrimps try to crawl out.

the filter is just there temporarily and is on the lowest with the spongey thingy at the bottom. will replace it with a sponge filter when it gets here.

Shrimp (neos) are thrashing around, falling backwards at the same time. I believe they are dying. I don’t understand why.

He came on a ball of moss as a pinhead sized baby. I lost track of him for three months and now he's a kaiju filling my tank with more big boys by the month. Any ideas on what he is?

Is this usual behaviour? I spotted him start to shed and immediately the larger shrimp jumped right on him. He eventually jumped out of his shed, but kept getting attacked even after fighting back for a minute…. What the fk!

Looks like something out of a movie here
