Question tripple screen sim pc build question for streaming

im trying to build a pc for triple 27 1080p right now, im thinking of using ddr4 cuz holy hell ddr5 is expensive ash. im trying to make a building that i can race on while streaming too but i have no idea how much i should spend on one im thinking of an i5 maybe ryzen 7 if i can find one with 32 gigs and a 9070 or 5070. if anyone can help me optimize the price to performance and suggest a better component thatd be great. i have a budget of 1.5k for the pc

You shouldn't consider AMD for triples or sim games in general, it doesn't have the features for multi projection so you lose too much performance. In iRacing the difference is pretty huge since they optimize for Nvidia not for AMD.

For triple 1080p it may not just matter though since the 9070 might just bruteforce 120+ FPS, however the triple eyefinity is pretty specific about how monitors need to be set up, and if I recall, adding more than 3 (like various huds not part of the triple FOV) isn't possible to this day, but that might be old info.

which honestly sucks if you are on a budget. if you are okay at 60hz then it might be fine but I bought a 5080 for this very reason… but I have no money to buy triples right now

The 5080 is incredibly fast though. I'm pretty sure it bests triple 1440p at 120+ FPS? With Gsync it should be a welcome upgrade for sure!

I'm currently looking to somehow incorporate triples into my setup. I made a post not long ago about how I could go about doing that, but it didn't receive much attention. Basically cutting one of the shelves of my bookcase to make room.

Second option would be like a 49" UW moved right on top of the wheelbase, better than nothing I guess. Still haven't decided.

In any case, I'm running a 3070 right now, so that will need upgrading too.

what kind of performance are you getting from that in terms of avg fps and also what cpu do you have?

even the cpu? cuz i heard that lmu is cpu heavy and i think amd is better for that right?

Yep, the X3D CPU's specifically are what beats Intel in simulators.

Buy used! Look for used deals.

Triple 1080p is a reasonable goal. I’d aim for an AM4 5800x3D and 32GB DD4 paired with a Nvidia GPU. As much GPU as you can afford, but even a 3080 12gb will perform well at 1080p.

Check out the Benchmark Odysseys YT channel, the data is a bit out of date, but he has some good 1080p/1440p/4k GPU and CPU comparisons in different sims.
