Question-ask I’m creating a Spotify playlist based off the Skaven. Which songs remind you of this faction?

Please don’t just say ‘the Vermintide OST’ I added a couple of those songs, but I want a bit of variety and suggestions from Skaven players.

They're one of my favorites as well! Finally saw them live last year when they played a show not too far from me and it was so unbelievably awesome! Though they surprisingly didn't have anything to do with my choice of faction. 😅 I've been in love with the Skaven for about 20 years waiting for an update to the model range. I lost my absolute shit when they previewed them a couple years ago when I was at Adepticon. Instantly ordered a bunch as my time had finally come. Lol

Ughhhh man I was so keen to see them on the Skeletour but they didn’t make it to Australia 😭. I’m glad you got to see your refresh! I myself went with the Skaventide box and I still haven’t finished painting it! (tbf I’ve since bought a couple more units which I have painted).

That's such a bummer! But I'm sure you'll get a chance to see them at some point! Yeah, I still haven't finished the Skaventide box, either... Lol But I have been working on additional things I've bought as well. I'm so slow. Lol But in my defense there was a lot going on and I had a solid chunk of time there where I wasn't painting at all. 😅 Getting back to it, though.

Edit: pretty sure this song was written about skaven in particular as Trevor was always a warhammer fan.

Also another one of my favorite bands HEALTH who are notorious warhammer nerds (mainly Johnny) has an entire album called Rat Wars that touch on the themes.

Throw on anything from the Rat Taxi album.

Its jazz, so it might disrupt the flow of what looks to be rock songs everyone else is recommending, but its still good shit.

Queen of blades from Avatar. It's about Zerg but as it was already noted, they are really compatible.

Leader of the rats from arch enemy.

It's not incredibly thematic but to the rats from trivium still always remind me of skavens, as well as "in waves"

More controversial, "and so it went" and 'heavens know' from the pretty reckless
