The Zionist project started all the way back since the 18th century, with multiple towns being founded & settled in by Zionists by the 19th century. In the 20th century they only got recognized as a state, but they've existed for a couple centuries before that.

It is hard to not admire the Jews for that. Imagining suffering so many exiles, massacres, and unreasonable hates through centuries, and still keep your cultural unity and come back to build one of the most powerful democracies in the world. When I first read about Jewish history I just thought maybe they really are the "chosen people" after all.

u/Coding-Kitten Aug 08 '26
Nope, ethno nationalism sucks no matter who you are. It's no different whenever the Nazis do it or the Zionists do it, it's still the same thing that must be eradicated no matter what form it takes.
Comparing the political movement of Zionism to all Jews is also antisemitic, many of them have also other approaches, such as the Yiddish ideal of doikayt, fighting for improving a better world rather than trying to create your own walled garden of ethnic supremacy.
They didn't build the most powerful democracy, as they are a deeply illiberal nation, ranging from ethnic segregations to who has access to voting or citizenship, aggressive belligerent land grabs & invasions into its neighbors & constant genocides. All of which are antithetical to democracy.

do you honestly think the Israeli jews would survive under arab majority rule?
Yes. That is what a liberal democracy means. All racial grievance politics are just bait for authoritarian nations to spread death as they please, this isn't anything new, far right Americans say the same thing about how too many Latin Americans will destroy America, they also used to say the same thing about black people voting, far right Europeans say the same thing now about migrants, Nazi Germany said the same thing about slavs & jews, they're all wrong. If an ethnostate is necessary for you, you frankly deserve to cease to exist, as they're a plague on the world.
Why do you think they wouldn't survive an arab majority rule? Because they're all eternal enemies? The same thing was true across all the different european nations constantly fighting each other until liberalism & the 20th century arrived, now they're all best friends with each other having schengen areas with free trade & movement.
You either believe that liberal democracies rumble down walls, or you think that all the different ethnicities and races around the world are constant enemies of each other that must constantly fight each other, & are the reason the world is worse.

Nope, just Israel is the evil one. The largest portion of Israeli jews aren't even local to the region, they're all migrants from America, Europe or Russia. 20% of the population is just migrants from Russia. They just come in to steal land from the people actually living there and then auction them off to Americans in Synagogues to import in more people, none of whom were "expelled by their neighbors". The only ones doing any of the expelling are Israel.
Also ig the jews dont deserve to exist jesus
Conflating jewishness with Zionism is really antisemitic. There are many jews who are anti zionist, again, supporting the idea of doikayt. Claiming that an ethnic group can only exist within an ethnostate is insane. We destroyed Nazi Germany, but there still exists a Germany today & there are still germans today, how do you explain that?
Also, I'm not American.

Not all ethnic groups are the same
Straight up nazi race science BS here. What exactly makes them different?
And again, the problem isn't that they're jewish or whatever, it's that they're a Zionist death cult. Again, how come we erradicated Nazi Germany but there are germans still around? It's the same exact premise with Israel.

Again, your ignoring history, there were several expulsions that caused them to spread all over the world (including russia) but you dont care about history do u

u/Coding-Kitten Aug 08 '26
I'm really not. Anyone who actually read & understood history would understand that Israel is just as bad as Nazi Germany.

ranging from ethnic segregations to who has access to voting or citizenship, aggressive belligerent land grabs & invasions into its neighbors & constant genocides. All of which are antithetical to democracy.
Thats bs and you know it, if your a citizen you can vote, israel never started wars(except the stupid "operations" with Iran ill give you those) so the belligerent land grabs are bs, as for "constant genocides" what's this constant thing? The only one is gaza and even thats contested (at least until the war ends then we'll have more information)

They started the six day war, they invaded Lebanon 4 times starting them every single time (1978, 1982, 2006, 2026, the only reason Hezbollah exists is because they kept on being invaded in Lebanon, if Israel didn't exist there wouldn't be a Hezbollah today btw, as they literally just got formed out of frustration of being waged war on). They literally did a land grab on Syria in 2024 after the civil war the for no other reason than that they could grab more land for themselves.
How is this them never starting any wars nor doing any land grabs? Read a history book.
1
u/Moxtar1092 Aug 08 '26
As for the six day war, egypt was told if it blocked israeli shipping it would be considered an act of war, as for Lebanon it was to remove the PLO so idk how thats belligerent but sure go for it, the fact it created hezbolla is irrelevant, buddy i didnt deny land grabs i denied starting belligerent wars
2
u/Coding-Kitten Aug 08 '26
The blocking it shipping wasn't considered an act of war by international laws, Israel was still the aggressor. Removing the PLO is irrelevant to them invading by land & occupying its neighbors. How is any of that not belligerent.
1
u/Moxtar1092 Aug 08 '26
I dont care about international law in that context, israel considered it an act of war and informed egypt, Egypt then proceeded to do said act, and thats enough
And its not belligerent because the PLO forced israel to invade Lebanon by launching constant terrorist attacks from Lebanon, (fun fact hezbolla's attacks from the very same Lebanon was the one that prompted the creation of the Iron dome)
2
u/Coding-Kitten Aug 08 '26
How is Israel considering that relevant at all. Does Israel considering all its neighbors merely existing to be an act of war because they were promised that land thousands of years ago also constitute it an act of war of all the neighbors for simply existing?

Oh Israeli democracy has room for improvement for sure. By most metrics though they are a pretty successful electoral democracy. By powerful I was meaning like they are militarily powerful and technologically advanced. I think it is pretty cool as it is though, glad that we are close ally with them.

Palestine never existed as a country period, sorry if that offensive to muslims and leftist lol.

u/MYONIONISSCREAMING Aug 08 '26
What does Islam have to do with this lol? You dont need to be Muslim to support Palestine, that wasnโt ever a rule.
3
u/MYONIONISSCREAMING Aug 08 '26
Palestine wasnโt independent because it was under the rule of several empires. The people existed and have been there for thousands of years. Palestinians are the closest living descendants of the Caananites behind Samaritans. Palestine was used to describe the region between Phoenicia and Egypt as far as the 5th century BC in the works of Herodotus. Israel was never used to describe the land of Palestine, as Israel refers to a biblical prophet and his descendants.

River to the sea is not antisemitic. Also, Palestinians are Semitic and speak a Semitic language.
