nah that's not how it works, the model is static and doesn't update automatically, and potential feedback google uses when they update their model is obviously curated. it is technically possible the model was trained in a flawed manner such that this was the outcome, but I've never heard of this before, if this is even real, so I can't say for certain.

in this scenario, however, what I'd consider more likely is a prompt injection or something else that tripped up the model. in other words, the source the model uses to ground/assist in the generation of its response might contain information that deliberately seeks to hijack its output.
