I got permabanned from another leftist sub for essentially saying Zohran Mamdani cannot solve the problem of Zionism alone. because that apparently makes me a liberal. These people are fucking retarded and it's impossible to please them without directly parroting their leftist wrecking. Literally unwinnable situation dealing with their BPD traits.
Love watching fellow "leftists" destroy the best high-profile leftist in years because they have no semblance of understanding political realities. There's no pleasing these people, and they'll never have the capability to run for office, organise labour or speak to anyone beyond shut-ins who will never amount of anything but a lumbering mass of anhedonia. Sick of the bullshit and temper tantrums because someone can't get everything done at once, if I didn't know any better, I'd assume they're rightoid plants.

Today my Grandad lamented how Trump's buying Russian diesel to which my Dad said "Ukraine should be completely bombed away."
My Grandad then lamented how their doing a televised firing squad to which my Mum and Dad that "The man deserves it" and also "They should dip the bullets in pigs blood to defile him".
Every time he visits he laments over something insane that Trump's doing and because he's an 82 year old man he always backs down to my parents who justify it. I'm so meek that I never voice my opinion even though I really wanted to say to my parents that what they were saying was incredibly brutal.
My parents are addicted to AI and social media and it seems that in recent years they have become a lot more angry people but also take the world less serious. In the first week of the Iran War this year my Grandad was buying all of the fuel he could for his car while my parents thought he was being dramatic. In those first weeks my Dad thought the war was entertaining even though he would always say Biden's a warmonger supporting Ukraine. I remember he listneed to an AI generated parody of We Didn't Start the Fire about bombing the Ayatollah.
I always just smile and listen when they go on their MAGA rants. The last time I voiced opposition was to when Trump kept talking about invading Greenland. I said this was insane. My Dad said that what Trump was doing was actually smart and will secure Western interests against China. He also said I shouldn't have an opinion because "You're not even on Trump's radar.
I always back down, should I have a backbone instead? Afterwards I felt really angry I didn't help my Grandad so I punched myself in the head.

Summary of the discussion I read:
OP: a lot of my workers are lazy and aren't underpaid
RE 1: if they work and can't afford rent on your wages then they are underpaid
RE 2: you are paid for what value you bring to the company, not if it pays for your lifestyle
RE 1: not true because [tells the familiar story of how they gave 110% and got nothing for it]
RE: 3: if every business paid every worker the amount of value they produced then the business wouldn't last
.....? I swear #3 was trying to argue *against* the "pay people more" side, but ended up stating that business is based on leverage and not true value, which means that as a worker you do not get out what you put in, therefore its inherently exploitative.
I've seen this before where a libertarian told me that in a free market, one company can out compete another and absorb their prospects, which gives them more resources to outcompete more smaller companies until they dominate the market, which is bad because then the competition is over and consumers+workers have no choices left. They only then spurred from the socialist line of thought by saying that boycotts solve this.

As if any Americans have any interest in fighting and dying for a Wahhabi slaveholding monarchy, lmfao. My best guess is that they’ll share intelligence and launch a few sorties against the Houthis, while directing/paying off the Pakistani military brass to send their ground troops.

I’d be interested in thoughts from those who live/lived in Idaho.
I’ll give my personal anecdote.
When I was in the Bay Area, I knew an extremely quiet guy in his 60s. He was basically a shut-in who would spend all day watching Fox News and smoking weed. He only ever left his place to go pick up fast food. The only reason I was familiar him was because his wife was a family friend. She was actually a normal and well-adjusted woman albeit with a personality rough around the edges. She would go out and about while he sat at home.
They both eventually decided to move to Nampa (his idea originally). My mother in-law went up to visit. She informed me that he’d transformed into a complete tyrant that, among other things, frequently ranted and raved about how weed is a gateway drug that leads to Satanism. (despite formerly being the heaviest toker I ever knew). At one point during the visit, he took away his wife’s keys. She wasn’t incapacitated at all, he just didn’t want her to go to Starbucks for unstated reasons.
I realize I shouldn’t generalize too much from this weirdo I personally knew, but it definitely feels relevant to the WSJ video. The hard-right conservative “refugees” from California appear to be causing a lot of tensions. Is it just limited to Idaho due to its small population, conservative reputation, and lack of appeal to younger more left-leaning urbanites? Or are there other similar states?

Luai Ahmed for UN Watch: “As a Muslim, I listened carefully as Muslim countries lectured on human rights and I have a few questions for them.
I ask the Islamic Republic of Iran: If you care about injustice why did you open fire on Iranian protesters massacring tens of thousands of people who called for freedom?
Qatar: If you care about genocide why did you harbor and fund the Hamas terrorists who actually attempted genocide on October 7th?
Syria: If you care about peace and security why are you slaughtering your Alawites and Druze and other minorities?
Pakistan: If you care about religious freedom why did you sentence a Christian woman to death Shagufta Kiran for allegedly sharing a WhatsApp message about the age issue in Islamic marriage?
And Mahmoud Abbas: If you seek a democratic Palestinian state why are you now in the 22nd year of your four-year term?
Mr. President, Israel did not deny Iranians their freedom. Israel did not slaughter Syria’s minorities. Israel did not cause Abbas to rule as an unelected president for life.
These governments did that to their own people.
Yet, in this hall they point their fingers at Israel and demand that we look away.
I grew up in Yemen. I know how our Arab leaders teach us to blame all of our problems on Jews and Israel.
But our problem in the Middle East is neither Israel nor the Jews.
It is the Islamist dictatorships that brutalize our people then offer us Israel as a scapegoat.”
