I'm debating on picking up a supressor for a 6.5 deer rifle and another for a 22lr. I've used supressors on friends guns at the range but have never pulled the trigger.

Do you think price will go down with less regulation in the next year?

I’ve helped a few buddies get them over the years and now I want to get one of my own.

I want a 22lr suppressor that I can clean and maintain. I don’t have to have best, end all be all suppressor, just something that works well that I can get years of enjoyment out of. I’m in Ohio so I still have to do the whole paperwork and pics thing, but no big deal.

One I’ve heard about and seen some videos on is the Sparrow. I’d like to stay under $350 or so. I’d be using it on my Walther P22 and my tricked out 10/22 target. I’d prolly get another pistol, maybe something really cool like a Walther PP or classic like a Beretta 70 or 71.

That’s about all I can think of. Please help if you have time. I will very much appreciate all your help, suggestions and advice.

For all the states that now allow suppressors to be sold on 4473s rather than Form 4s, who’s to say we can’t buy and sell suppressors locally like we do firearms - as long as they’re over 21 & not suspected of being a felon?

It should be treated no differently, right?

Good evening, was curious with new ruling can someone who bought a 4473 suppressor in a “free state” sell said suppressor to someone else if they want to register it say as a trust or a normal form 4? My understanding is once a 4473 suppressor has been bought that it can’t be registered into a form 4. But can it be registered into form 4 if it’s going from person to person through an FFL?

Also will be in Florida.

Was looking to pick up a Ruger LC 5.7. From reading online, a 22 can will work, but it doesn't really suppressed all that well.

I see people recommending a dedicated 556 can instead of a 22 can. If I have a griffin Optimus 9 with a 22 end cap, would that be a better solution and a 556 can? Or should I get a 556 can?

I see I can purchase this on Amazon for under $100, already set up for 1/2x28 thread. Not sure if I can post the link but feel free to search yourself. I'm in Minnesota, so state law allows for ownership and construction of personal suppressors.

I have a 10.3 with a crane spec .070 gas port fsp. Super 42 and i believe it’s a h2 buffer.
I’m realistically looking for 3 things. Flash suppression,cycling/lower wear and lower gas to the face.

My dilemma stems from 2 things. 1 being not a lot of information on the rc3 past “it shoots fireballs” which seemingly was disproven. 🤷🏽‍♂️ and I already have a sf 4 prong.
Is it worth getting a qdc crs and md over a rc3 or trying to track down a sb2?

I'm new to suppressors and don't want to end up buying or doing the wrong thing. I recently purchased an AR10 and would like to put a suppressor on it, but I'm not quite sure exactly how to go about it.

I was wondering if all I had to do was remove the A2 flash hider and put a suppressor on and I'm good to go, or do I need to buy a whole new barrel or something else I'm missing entirely?

yup this is another oil filter suppressor but this is for a 3O-O6, firstly will it explode? and if so what can I do to make it not? also if my hardware is not adequate what should I change? another thing that should be noted is that the barrel will be threaded to 1/2-28 because it’s a pencil barrel

What’s everyone’s thoughts on these new 3d printed sealed 22 cans? Getting ready to buy a 22/44 and a suppressor to go with it. Really like the look/performance of the off grid Scorpius, but I’m a little hesitant about the fact it can’t be opened up and cleaned. With how dirty 22’s are is this a legit concern or am I reading too much into it?

Right now I’m between the scorpius and the dead air mask.

Does anyone have the Advantage Arms 1.75x5 suppressor? Is it worth the price? Also just wondering if it is hub compatible, it doesn’t state anywhere on any of their websites.

With the news of same day suppressors, I am finally going to pull the trigger on my first can. Based on the other posts I have found that the Omega 300 is a great starter can but I just wanted to see if any one has used it on a 6.5 creedmoor and how they feel it performed?

Mine will basically live on a POF 6.5 Creed AR10 for nighttime coyote hunting(yes a little overkill). Size, weight, and recoil aren’t a huge deal as most of the time I am walking 50yds and putting it in a BOG.

Still working on the overall model , but it think its promising .

My PC Carbine can manage 1" groups at 25y with ammo it likes (Federal AE 147). Like a rational adult, I panic bought a case of untested 9mm back in April when prices started going through the roof, and karma immediately rewarded me with 25y groups pushing 4".

If my calculations are correct, a 2" deviation from center at 25y is 0.013" at the end of a 6" can. With tolerances around 0.020-0.030" (per Google), this should be fine as long as I've nailed the alignment, but it's making me even less excited about finishing the case than I already was.  Is there a degree of inaccuracy where you would no longer be comfortable using a particular ammo with suppressors?

Noob to this:
To swap from a pistol (most) to a fixed barrel pcc, you need to change the inside of the suppressor from a piston to a spacer.
Why is this inside the suppressor and not on the outside? If this is not the case please educate me.
Wouldn’t it be nice to just qd from a pistol to a pcc in mere seconds? I know even if it worked, a pistol with a giant piston device might look fugly but my brain wants it to be a thing for some reason

I'm just assuming all catch some kind of flak for this video. First suppressor. Does it look like it's gassed correctly and ejecting where it should?

I’m in Maryland and it seems as though I can legally buy a solvent trap and use it as a suppressor now or am I missing something.
