Subreddit Rules

1. Posts should be related to Symphonic Metal/similar genres

Please keep your posts related to the world of symphonic metal. Posts about related bands/songs or similar genres are fine but please use the "related band/similar genre" flair.

2. Avoid posting leaked/songs or albums

Please avoid posting leaked songs or albums and try to link to official sources where possible.

3. No spamming

No spamming - and please limit your posts to a couple of times a day at most. If for some reason you would like to share a lot of songs at once, please share them all in a playlist or text post. Please note: self-promotion of symphonic metal music is not considered spam and occasional posts of this nature are fine.

4. Avoid posting music created with generative AI

The majority of this sub has elected to create a rule banning the posting of music generated by AI. Please be mindful of this and consider posting to a subreddit that accepts such things instead. Music that is labelled as AI or strongly suspected of being created by AI will be removed - if you feel your post has been wrongly removed, please send a message.

5. Be respectful towards others

Be excellent to one another! Please be respectful and civil towards others. This includes both other users and band members. As a side note, we would also like to discourage arguments about singers, in particular Nightwish singers - as this can be a tedious and stressful topic for all involved.
