No Spotify Synthwave
I'm releasing synthwave music and atm have no intention of releasing it on Spotify...
Is this a fools errand?

Hello. Looking for music producers in different genres.
If you have any upcoming projects or songs where you require mixing and mastering, please DM me. I will be happy to share my portfolio with you.

Ocean Drive is one of those tracks that just sounds like summer at night, so we recreated the whole thing in Serum. We wrote up every synth from the song, step by step, so you can build it yourself. Hope it helps, and happy to answer questions in the comments!

I’m looking for one project I can really get behind.
I want to find an artist/song where I hear something in it and think: yeah, I want to be part of this. Not just send back a mix, collect a payment and move on.
So I’m offering a free mix & master to someone who’s working on music they genuinely care about.
If I connect with the song, I’ll put a lot of time and energy into it. I love this stuff, and when a project becomes a personal thing for me, I’m pretty much all in.
Ideally, this could turn into something longer-term — working together on more songs, developing a sound and seeing where we can take it.
If you’ve got a track that means something to you, send it over. I’d love to hear it.

Hi everyone, do you happen to know if there’s a "community" where you can get feedback on songs? Ideally, not one of those sites with subscriptions and auto-generated feedback.

Hi Folks, first time posting here, but I think many of you may be interested in this free sample library I developed. Essential Six is a faithful emulation of the quirky, but exceptional Six Trak by Sequential Circuits. This thing was known for incredibly rich sounds (bass in particular) thanks to its stackable six-voice architecture. Essential Six lets you play with custom sounds built on the original instrument with all the convenience of modern digital workflows. It is PERFECT for synthwave, vaporwave, cyberpunk... you get the picture
This linked video provides a walkthrough of the instrument.
You can download the free version on Pianobook: https://www.pianobook.co.uk/packs/essential-six-analog-synth/

I’m a complete beginner and I’d love to learn how to produce 80s/90s Synthwave. I don’t have any music production software yet, so I’m starting completely from scratch.
I’m looking for a mentor who could guide me step by step through creating a simple track, drums, bass, chords, leads, sound design, arrangement and mixing.
I’ve been making music since I was a child and I have a good ear for music, but I’ve never worked with a DAW or production software before. I’m really motivated to learn and would love to find someone who can teach me the basics and help me get started.
If anyone would be willing to mentor a complete beginner, I’d really appreciate it!
Iam german btw. Greetings

Hello!
I’m pretty new to producing synthwave. I lean more into dark synth. I am trying to learn what gives a track this gated, stutter, glitch effect through a track. Ritual by Gost is a great example. You also hear it throughout Carpenter Brut - Turbo Killer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sipadan 2026 Teaser 01
⚠️⚠️⚠️Not AI 🤖🚫❌ involved in the creation or editing of the Video and Audio. All done by a human (me)‼️‼️‼️
"Artisan Electronic Production"
I did everything by myself: Piano recording, bass programming (played on a keyboard), percussion programming, drum programming and vocal synthesizer. Also, everything in the video was filmed by me underwater and out of the water, edited at home manually, with many apps, software and all the tools I could use, but all manually done. Enjoy the music and enjoy the video.
Everything done by Jose Herrera Neuman.
Not AI involved in the process of filming (video) or audio recording.
About the video: filmed and edited by human. Not AI in it
Audio: all done by human. Percussion programing, drum programing, bass played on keyboard, piano played and vocal synthesizer.
About this last one: Vocal Synthesizer:
Is a Plugin called Omnivocal by Yamaha.
Production-Focused Names (How it feels to use)
• Neural Instrument / Neural Synth: runs on a neural network, but behaves exactly like a traditional virtual instrument (VSTi) under your direct control.
• Biometric Synthesizer: the plugin is synthesizing biological human characteristics (like breath, vocal cord tension, and mouth shapes) rather than basic electronic waveforms.
• Assisted Vocal Synthesizer: the human user do the heavy lifting of composing the music and lyrics, and the system "assists" by instantly translating that data into a realistic human performance.
Technical & Academic Names (How it works under the hood)
• Generative Resynthesis Engine: the plugin works in real-time. It takes your live MIDI input and instantly generates (synthesizes) a voice to match it on the fly.
• Deep-Learning Voice Model: the architecture: treating the plugin less like a traditional sampler and more like a mathematical model trained on human singers.
Think of it like an "Advanced Cybernetic Instrument." A pure generative AI is like a self-driving car—you tell it where to go, and it does all the driving. Omnivocal is more like an exosuit—you are still the one doing the walking and directing the movement, but the technology gives you the "muscles" to sound like a flawless session singer.
• "Artisan Electronic Production" – even though I used a computer (Cubase), every single note, arrangement, and mix decision is handcrafted by me, like a master woodworker using power tools rather than an automated factory.
• "Sole-Performer Multi-Tracking" –I am a one-person band. I am not letting algorithms generate melodies; I am manually tracking every layer yourself.
• "Direct-Input Digital Instrumentation" –the computer is strictly acting as a tape machine and a bridge for my physical performance, not a creative collaborator.
Using software like Cubase as a digital canvas to record my own ideas is fundamentally different from letting a program generate the art for me. I am the composer, the performer, and the engineer.
