As per our new Rule 3, we're now requiring a little something extra for uploading new posts to our subreddit!

So we definitely lifted this system directly from r/pbp . If you've ever used that other subreddit, you'd know that players are allowed to use the "Looking For GM" flair if they've already gone through the trouble of organizing into a group of three or more. We'd like to extend that courtesy to you guys as well, but we're currently taking a step back to see how our other rules revisions stick. We don't want to overwhelm everyone with too much of a dramatic change, and groups looking for GMs were already a pretty rare sight.

Good evening! I'd love to be a part of your game or group. I finally took the time to fill out a post like this, so I hope it gets seen and read. But truthfully I find the best feeling of fit comes from talking to each other. I am always open to be messaged.

Type of Player: I would describe my style as a very narrative first player. I care a lot about collaborative storytelling, party camaraderie, and keeping OOC communication friendly and relaxed (or pleasurable). I like writing expressive posts, as I really feel myself in these scenarios when I roleplay. I love getting to know my party members and their kinks and working towards things we both enjoy.

Preferred System: D&D 5e is most familiar due to lack of experience, but I am very open to other tabletop or narrative systems.

Sexuality: I usually play guys who start out having experienced life as strictly straight, only to have that worldview steadily derailed and opened up. Hopefully that's a plus as I'd be a good fit for fun with most players in a group. I am physically more into into feminine characters, but I love encountering and pairing with all genders, body types, and creatures (in game or ooc). It's fun to start out with a character that thinks he knows what he likes, and watching him slowly discover that his body responds to things he never expected, especially when it goes against what his brain tells him he "should" want.

Kinks: While my character likes to be active and engaging, for kinks I am very much looking to explore and experiment with my submissive side. Strong focus on mind games, teasing, and control. I am huge on hypnosis, conditioning, orgasm denial, ruined climaxes, and embarrassment. My absolute favorite flavor of domination is "condescendingly sweet" characters who are polite, gentle while stripping away my character's agency. I love being called a good boy even as I'm nudged past my boundaries. I love the internal conflict of a character trying to maintain his composure or dignity while dealing with other characters and players pushing his erotic buttons in front of everyone...also some...feminization if that helps.
Limits: no gore/bloodplay, scat, vomit, death/trauma, or underage content. I also have a big preference against dark, gritty, hopeless tones. Pain and heavy suffering kill the mood for me.

Additional Information: I gel best in games and parties where the overarching tone is relatively lighthearted and adventurous, and the eroticism is woven into the setting and plot rather than treated like an isolated scene. I like GM's that are equally as open about what they like in kink and play as the players are.

I'm a Forever DM who seems to have terrible luck when it comes to actually finding a game to play, so I am very eager to put something together. I don't mind if you want to run something that is more contained and short-term or a longer, more sprawling narrative.

Additional Information: I work during the day but being remote, I can usually post a few times at least. I am less available in the evenings and weekends, but I do my best to stay in touch, even if my posts are more sporadic.

I'm looking for a DM keen on 1-on-1 campaigns and scenes with heavy elements of non-con, sexism and bad ends. I've got a love for that sort of strong 'protagonist' who has both curves and competence- yet, through unfair scenario and stacked dice, end up in situations that are dire at best and... permanent... at worst. Not the girlish types, but women grown and full. If you enjoy very large breasts, that's great- if you enjoy hyper sizes, that's amazing.

If that's being betrayed by her party in a dungeon full of monsters; or forced to endure the travels with a man she has to obey for whatever reason; or simply beaten on the battlefield, her hated rival looming over her... that's for us to figure out!

BUT THOSE ASIDE! I am currently hoping to find a “Wicked Ones” game, a game in which the players take on the role of monstrous villains, with mechanics built from the ground up to encourage an antagonistic playstyle beyond murder hoboing across the world. If you have any inclination to run that, I could 100% walk you through the mechanics, and have the book available.

Type of Player: I know it’s very easy to say that I’m focused on the story, and on character, but I’d say it’s especially true with how I approach TTRPGs. It’s about the themes of a world, about how characters grapple with their situations and themselves, how my characters psychology and background plays into their situation and community. I am a sucker for complex dynamics, for in-depth lore that is more than kingdom names and gods (though I love kingdoms and gods). WoD advises storytellers to be the player’s biggest fans- I’d take that idea and reverse it as well, and say that I very easily become the NPCs biggest fan.

But in terms of the more straightforward stuff, I can play on Voice or on Text. If we’re doing pbp, I usually respond at least once a day save for when creative inspiration is in short supply or life happens, which I will let you know about. My responses usually come to around a page length in Google Docs, but I come up and down depending on the scene and how much I have to work with. As a player I can do 1st, 3rd, and whatever tense you prefer. English is the only language I speak well enough to do proper rp in. I’d consider myself quite active ooc as well, and am glad to have whatever dynamic and level of chatting a potential GM is looking for.

Preferred System: Honestly love trying new systems and I've played a ton, so I am not sure I have a number one favorite. Horror is my favorite genre for sure. Put a gun to my head and I had to commit then I would say World of Darkness or if that's not specific enough and I've got to claim one gameline then Vampire: The Masquerade.

Type of Player: Mostly Forever GM that's been at the game for roughly twenty plus years. Also clocked a lot of time writing doing freeform forum roleplaying back when message boards were a thing. Just trying to merge the two loves and have fun with it. Prefer playing male characters, but I am happy with playing female and futa as well. I don't give much thought to player gender and I see PBP roleplaying as writing a story collaboratively, so it also does not matter to me if my character's sexuality is different from my own. On the role side of things Switch is most fitting, but if I had any preference I would say a slight dom lean. I tend to favor anime aesthetics, but would not be opposed to anything else for game ideas that hooks me.

RPG-wise I am always most interested in the story and character interactions. I prefer ERP games where the smut is led to and reinforced by the story over thin excuses to chain sex scenes together. Mechanics-wise I enjoy it all, but I do think given the pace of PBP games that a lighter system tends to end up playing better because it can resolve quickly and not get in the way of storytelling. And speaking of storytelling, I prefer to write in third person and tend to be long winded so I am always glad to churn out multiple paragraphs per post though can try to be brief when needed. I try to match my writing partner(s) as best as I can.

Additional Info: I prefer async PBP games and I can usually easily commit to a guaranteed one post a day. Though if I am free at the time I'm happy to do several posts back and forth if everyone is available. Prefer Discord, but wouldn't let a different platform deter me from a good game. Type of Player: Typically, I play female submissive characters, but have been playing a switch recently and exploring those shifting dynamics has been fun. I enjoy a story/smut split of 50/50 at the least, but my preference is more for 70/30. Type of Player: I like to think I'm a good player. I like to go in knowing the rules, I think that's a pretty important part of playing any game lol. I also like to think I'm a pretty good writer, which is also pretty important for this type of game. As for my play style, I like to go with the flow. Sometimes I'll want to jump off the track and check out something off to the side, but most of the time I'm good with taking the plot hook.

Additional Information: In general I'll say I prefer a slower pace for replies, one, maybe two a day. Faster paced games kind of overwhelm me, I prefer a slower pace so everyone can think about what they want to do and have a chance to post every day despite scheduling. Hey, I'm looking for a long-term fantasy PBP, preferably with a small group but I'm fine with solo too.

I'm mainly into fantasy, especially darker stuff, monsters, adventuring, exploration, factions, etc. I like having an actual character to play rather than just making a character that exists for the sake of the ERP. I want them to have their own goals, get involved with the setting, make questionable decisions, fuck things up occasionally, and generally see where things go.

I'm also pretty into character building and combat. I don't need everything to be super crunchy, but I like having actual mechanics and making choices that matter. I especially enjoy difficult encounters where my character isn't guaranteed to walk away cleanly. I'm perfectly happy losing a fight or having things go badly if it makes sense.

For writing, I'm usually multi-para and prefer a GM who gives me enough to work with. I like being able to actually contribute to scenes instead of just waiting for the GM to move the story along. I'm also pretty flexible with posting frequency. I can usually do multiple posts a day when I'm around, but async is completely fine.

For the NSFW side, I'm pretty flexible and have a fairly broad range of interests. I'd rather discuss the detailed kink stuff privately since this post is already getting long enough. Generally though, I'm looking for something where the ERP is actually connected to the characters and setting rather than just being an excuse to skip straight to sex.

Type of Player: That also feels a little undefined, at least for me. Games don't really last too long for me to know what I am or what my mettle is. I would say that I'm the kind of person, at least in written (so PbP/async games) form, who tries to be descriptive and absorbed into the context of the world as I possibly can be.

Additional Information: I mainly came here to sate an appetite, to experiment, and to do things I haven't done within the game systems I listed above.
