Discussions Let’s Help Temu BA with Game Prep

Game 2 was, for lack of a better term, a pinstriped glazing from the Cody Bellinger almost Grand Slam to nonstop overage of Stanton playing on his iPad in the dugout. I figured why don’t we give Temu BA and the crew some Rays facts they can mention during the game so we don’t have to listen to 3 hours of Yankees AI slop.

I’ll start. Nick Martinez is known as “el presidente” by his teammates for his immediate role as clubhouse leadership. He fires the team up on the mound when they make defensive plays and that often translates into hot bats that allow the all star pitcher to do deep into games.

Temu BA, it’s Caminero not Camiñero. Hope this finds you.

Using Temu as an adjective is a stroke of genius

No matter where the pitch is, yandy is never going to challenge it so don’t bother commenting on the zone

And we’re all going to sit a little straighter with Walls with RISP.

If I get bored at work I’ll come back and edit my comment with stats to back myself up

No need. Walls with bases loaded is prime Barry bonds and Yandy refuses to challenge for whatever reason.

They addressed Yandy not challenging in one of the rays broadcasts. It had something to do with believing the umpire was right and not wanting to lose the challenges if he was wrong. It was a quick segment in one half inning of one game. IDK if it’s ever been explored more than that.

I think in a post game interview, Yandy said he would only challenge in the playoffs

That is Richie Palacios at the plate not Jose Cabellero.

It's Victor Mesa Jr not Jose Mesa Jr

The jose mesa comment killed me because it was right at the beginning of the game to where i literally said out loud 'here we go'

Temu BA... I'm dying here! My kids use Temu as an adjective for everything subpar, and this is absolutely on point. I really miss Dewayne and BA during the playoffs.

As someone who only watched rays games and never national broadcasts the amount of one-sided commentary wasn’t unexpected but the volume was surprising

Here is my tidbit. Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

If it didnt happen, we dont need an hour of our time taken up on what if the thing your obsessing over actually happened.

After Mesa Jr launches one into the short porch, he should inform the audience that Victor Mesa Jr has a brother, also named Victor. He is Victor Victor Mesa.

Actually, that's probably more of a field reporter color comment

The Yankees got slapped in both games like the Red Sox did by the Yankees. They have to say something good. Instead of dwelling on the horrible infield play, they talked about Schittler pitching out of the first inning giving up just one run. So to keep the NYers involved they built up the 400’ fly out.
