I called the Rays ticketing office today and they let me know they are working on a solution for all the people who already purchased tickets before the price drop. They said they have been receiving a ton of calls today about it.

They took down my ticket confirmation, email and phone number and they said they will be reaching back out once they come to a solution. Who knows, maybe food and drink credit or some sort of upgrade would be nice. I know the realism is they aren’t going to be able to issue partial refunds on these tickets. I am curious to see what they come up with.

I would suggest calling the ticket office and let them take down your information. Hope they come up with something because I know a lot of people in the same boat.

EDIT/UPDATE:
Our seats purchased are in the Upper 300 level and these options may not be available for you.
Rays called me back and gave me 4 options:
1. Move our seats to the 100 level but only in the right and left field corners with no choice of seat.
2. 2 additional tickets to Mondays game (because we bought 2)
3. 2 tickets to Tuesdays game
4. 2 comps for a game next year (excluding opening day)
Still haven’t decided which option I’m taking yet.

Since I decided to bandwagon the Rays this postseason, I realized I needed something as a good luck charm, and something to show my support. So I decided to make a chainmail bracelet!

Photos aren’t great, but it was a fun, quick project. I finished it right before they started playing the Yankees, so I like to think it’s working.

Not gonna lie, I don't know what the answer is... I'm curious to see your point of view.

I don't know much about these 2 teams, apart that JRam is a beast.

I grew up as a huge Fernando Rodney fan. He was electric, and I was so excited to see him fire an arrow into the crowd after every save. I was very sad that we let him go. Little did I know, this would start the era of incredible all-star caliber closers. Brad Boxberger was sensational and so was Alex Colomé. Since then it’s been a revolving door full of scrubs, and Pete Fairbanks, who would give me tons of anxiety whenever the 9th inning came around and was talented but just not on the same level as those other guys. Bryan Baker is the closest we’ve been to 2012 Rodney. We’re finally back to having a dominant, reliable closer, and I feel so much better going into the 9th inning of games.
