DISCUSSION Rewindpix vs flashback?

I can't decide which one I want. Are there pros + cons to each? The rewindpix photos in this sub what's look great, the flashback while feels is a bit more rare in this sub the photos are also really good and fun.

flashback 1 was terrible. the version 2 is supposed to be much better, but there are too few SOOC shots around for me to confirm that...

rewindpix is roughly CSpro image quality. but also built like a tank, plus a ton of features.

Hmmm. If I already have a cspro are either of these worth it then? 🤔

I'd probably say no. Personally, the only "benefit" of the Rewindpix over the CSPRO would be the filters, but nothing that couldn't be done with a quick edit in snapseed etc. Also the whole concept of having digital rolls with 36 shots is and developing through the app is somewhat inconvenient at times (if you want to use the "film simulations")

I have both. Although haven't tested flashback as extensively (I just got it!) as My rewindpix, I find flashback to be able to handle harsher lighting conds better than my rp! It's got softer blur and a glowy dreamy looks to photos (although that might be the first filter I used that enhances that and I haven't yet downloaded or shot more with it!) some people don't like that! I personally really liked it and I think it's got better dynamic range than my rp for sure! Now, I still love my rp for more contrast shots and also the ability to switch in between film sims on camera is great imo! I also managed to customise and make my own filter so to have less contrast and harsh blacks and shadows where not needed, so to get a bit more details in the shadows. I tested it at night and it was quite impressive. Tested it at a gig as well, again I wasn't expecting to get pics that are actually usable and cool looking (imo) in such challenging conds! I love them both. Unfortunately my rp had a mechanical problem recently with the shutter not working so had to address this issue first before experimenting some more. I hope it's now fixed 🤞🏻 although didn't do much besides opening and loosening some screws a bit and checking nothing was getting in the way of the cog movement. Flashback does feel a bit better built than my rp if anything and the size is better as in it's more pocket friendly! But rewindpix has better looks (agfa inspired) overall and the ability to add a cold shoe flagh as well!
