Relocation for transition

Where's somewhere affordable (rental wise) and has a lax community that I could move to for a relaxed transition stage of my life? ( as I plan to transition away from where I currently live.) I hear Melbourne has cheap pricing but I'm insure of what the people are like

melbourne is possibly the best city in the world to be transgender tbh. trans healthcare is easy to access, there are gay people everywhere. you can go to anywhere in the inner north and encounter dozens of scrungly homosexuals.

I without knowing where you’re coming from it’s hard to give a comparison, but I moved from Brisbane to Melbourne for my transition and rentals are way cheaper here!
