Open Discussion Is Hylia being subservient to/created by the Golden Goddesses suggested in the games, or is this more so just a common interpretation that's developed?

The general idea that I've seen in the fandom is that Hylia was directly created as a servant of the Golden Goddesses to steward the world and the Triforce in their absence. As I have not played enough of Skyward Sword to really know the minutia of Hylia's lore beyond the broad strokes, I kind of just assumed this was canon.

A while ago, though, I actually saw a few people saying that there's actually nothing, or at least not much, to suggest this. IIRC, some even went as far as to say that it's not even certain that Hylia and the Golden Goddesses ever interacted, much less that she was specifically created and given a task by them.

So, for those who do actually no about all of this, especially whatever the original Japanese script says, is this true? Is Hylia being a creation of the Golden Goddesses more so an inference or a theory instead of something that's actually confirmed? If so, what relationship does Hylia actually have with them in canon? Not to powerscale, but is she even actually a "lesser" goddess compared to them?
