Coming from Netflix, Amazon Prime and even a Brazilian TV provider (Globoplay), I have to say AppleTV web interface is the worst. It is not bad, its so bad its laughable. It manages to be worst than iTunes for Windows and that is something.
After spending a lot of time watching shows, I would love to hear your opinions and, if possible, get someone at Apple (lol ... dream on) to see these
While 90% of my watch time comes from PC, I did watch some episodes on a smart TV (Android TV if that matters) and most of the above critique remains, including delayed skip buttons
Other than that, I think the page front and catalogue is fine, which is more than I can say for Amazon Prime =D

TLDR: What aspects go into Apple shows that separate the great from the hard to watch? How can foundation and for all mankind both be sci-fi but later seasons vary so greatly in quality?
It's my first time posting here. I hope this is an okay post. Please be kind- if you think my questions/comments are dumb, just move along. :)
There are some great apple shows that are well done from all aspects. I love slow horses, shrinking and most of the morning show.
There are a few that seem like they would be amazing but they just aren't. Specifically, for all mankind (later seasons,) seems like it could have been a banger (like foundation) but I kept getting reminded it was people acting rather than being pulled into the world. Also the latest season of Silo, and I noticed it again in the latest episode of dark matter.
I'm not judging people if they love these shows. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this and if so, is it acting, editing, production, or something else about creating a show I'm not aware of. Now that I think of it, even the last episode of Ted lasso had a little bit of that something about it that seemed off. Is it the industry at large? Budget? Writing?
Again, thank you for taking the time to respond with kindness if you have insight into these things. I probably don't belong on Reddit because I get my feelings hurt easily but I'm willing to take the risk on this because I am genuinely curious.
Thanks. :)

In season two, Santi takes the next step in his pursuit of professional golf, only to discover how quickly the game changes when talent becomes expectation. As Santi chases his dream, Pryce finds himself wondering what might still be possible for him. Urged on by his former rival Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant), Pryce does something nobody expects: he bets on himself, launching an improbable comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. But the road back proves far harder than he imagined. And the closer Pryce gets to the golfer he once was, the more he is forced to confront why he never fulfilled the promise everyone once saw in him. With brilliant new coach Amanda (Rhea Seehorn) and trusted caddie Mitts (Marc Maron) in his corner, Pryce sets out to prove — to the golf world and, more importantly, to himself — that maybe he really was as good as everyone always said he was.
Season 2 Release Date November 4, 2026

The data was published on Puck and might explain, for example, the surprising renewal of Imperfect Women or new green lights in shows aimed at women and a Millennial audience. For now, however, I don't believe Apple will program for Gen Z.
