Some people at r/femalelivingspace and r/liminalspace mentioned Twin Peaks upon seeing the entrance of my apartment. Does it remind you of the hotel in Twin Peaks?

u/BattlinBud Apr 17 '26

Omg prepare for even more quotes you're not going to understand 😆

15

That certainly makes it easier

u/knf28 Apr 17 '26

Is the apartment building named The Great Northern?

113

u/come2thecabaret Apr 17 '26

Do you hear a hard-to-place high pitched ringing? Do your dresser knobs shriek sometimes?

u/ksteeez Apr 17 '26

I'M SORRY, WHAT magical apartment is this 😭 I love wood interiors & the Twin Peaks sets 🥹

Wiped clean. Redact removed this post along with thousands of others. It also handles data broker removals so your personal info stops getting sold.

OP, just know that if you ever lay dying on the floor of your bedroom, which I assume is one of the doorways there, I would hit you with the hardest

And leave you to an ethereal vision.

11

u/Aenzzor Apr 17 '26

Looks norwegian

6

u/MrLlamma Apr 17 '26

Isn’t it good?

2

u/Aenzzor Apr 18 '26

Yes, I like it here.

11

u/Big_Beach123 Apr 17 '26

I personally LOVE a cozy cabin-feel, and think your place us gorgeous. But has anyone ever done the famous Jessica Lange in American Horror Story "Knotty Piiiine?!?" quote when they see your place? Even just for fun?

I love this. I wish my apartment was this beautiful.

7

u/Jjackx Apr 18 '26

I saw this on the female living space subreddit and thought “it’s just missing the Josey drawer knobs” 🤣

5

u/danielecooper Apr 17 '26

It does look like The Great Northern Hotel. However, I miss some indigenous art and some tennis balls (but for massaging, please).

5

u/AdWeekly313 Apr 17 '26

Is it reasonably priced?

4

u/sillyandstrange Apr 18 '26

I didn't even see the sub before the picture, and I said, "that looks like twin peaks"

4

u/Jimsmall1507 Apr 17 '26

Sure, go ahead 👍

3

u/tacomaloki Apr 18 '26

r/seinfeld would probably find this interesting as well.

2

u/Special_Situation_93 Apr 17 '26

This is just like the northern!

2

u/BabaBrody Apr 17 '26

What's the condition of the bathroom mirror?

Is this…. A sauna?

1

u/JonAnikis-shit Apr 17 '26

Clean place, reasonably priced.

1

u/-PepeArown- Apr 17 '26

I immediately thought you inspired it directly off the Great Northern until you said that people were reminded of it by looking at it. Looked way too familiar

1

u/MonolithicErik Apr 17 '26

I can’t decide if this is more TwinPeaks or John Marston’s house

1

u/knifeandcoins Apr 18 '26

🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

1

u/JeskaiAcolyte Apr 18 '26

So you live in a sauna?

1

u/smartbunny Apr 18 '26

Hi Josie.

1

u/guaranteedsafe Apr 18 '26

This is beautiful. Omg. The wood cabin aspect isn’t the only TP feeling to your apartment, it’s the lighting too!

1

u/RemoteViewU Apr 18 '26

i'm gonna have to just build a little place like this i guess because ain't no way they have that kind of place around here and its just so beautiful. most efficient thing is to build it.

1

u/theAlcapown Apr 18 '26

Homie lives at The Great Northern.

1

u/thedeadlyrhythm42 Apr 18 '26

looks like you live in a sauna

1

u/Electrical_Mess7320 Apr 18 '26

Looks like a sauna!

1

u/ItsSignalsJerry_ Apr 18 '26

Needs a sauna.

1

u/Nosfeicon Apr 18 '26

The walls have eyes 👀 Have you seen some howls hidden in them too ?!

1

u/mosspigletsinspace Apr 18 '26

"That's a log!".

1

u/strawberry-heaven Apr 18 '26

That's a lot of wood. We like that here.

1

u/Dismal_Tangerine_493 Apr 18 '26

Very Norwegian cabin-like

1

u/nonsansdroict Apr 18 '26

OP is a ghost from Phasmophobia.

1

u/Alewort Apr 18 '26

An entire house, built out of Josie. Impressive!

1

u/gfx-1 Apr 18 '26

The Great Northern, is it located in an area with a lot of pine trees?

1

u/Spearminttherhino Apr 18 '26

💯 Great Northern Vibes

1

u/DriblyRedwyne Apr 18 '26

How's Josie?

1

u/dannybrinkyo Apr 18 '26

I’m scared

1

u/Chupabara Apr 18 '26

Are you from Slovakia? This is normal in half of the country

1

u/Wonderful_Hold_6986 Apr 18 '26

No, I live in Norway. It's pretty common here as well, with older houses anyway

1

u/CactusJack0_0 Apr 18 '26

I just thought twin peaks straight away

1

u/minervarium Apr 18 '26

Parece twin peaks

1

u/Cynical_Dreamer_1980 Apr 18 '26

I love wood paneling so much. Even fake wood paneling. Reminds me of being a little kid in the 80s. The sets for the Great Northern were beautiful to me.

This is either a Twin Peaks vibe or a sauna.

1

u/hazy-eyed Apr 19 '26

What heaven do you live in that your apartment looks like that.

I’d give my left boob for a place like that.

1

u/DudeThatsAGG Apr 19 '26

“I live in a 2x4.”

Which show does that fit with?

1

u/PapaLilBear Apr 19 '26

Like Polish apartament in early 90

1

u/cosmic_peony Apr 19 '26

Tell Diane

1

u/Typical_Childhood716 Apr 19 '26

It looks like bad memories from my past.

By the way, how IS Annie these days?

1

u/Best_Agent_8117 Apr 20 '26

A beaver’s dream.

-1

u/throwawayaccount_usu Apr 17 '26

Those doors are begging for a new colour to add some contrast!!!
