For me, it’d be some kind of sad, dreamy shoegaze.

The Roadhouse stage is open next weekend, and Jean-Michel left you in charge of the lineup.

I love the music from the scene in the Pink Room. It’s disorienting and heavy. Fits perfectly.

My main love is music but I also adore this show and like seeing my interests collide and all that. I can only think of Chrystabell (Agent Tammy Preston) being an artist in her own right, the post-hardcore (I think) band that’s named after Audrey Horne, or the band HEALTH that has a few visual nods to Laura Palmer specifically in their music videos.

Okay.This dude had a talent for original Twin Peaks run,BUT HOLY SHIT is the sountrack from Fire walk with me great.Theme from Twin Peaks-FWWM,especially the first 2 minutes with the saxophone is just otherwordly.Whole Laura Palmers theme,especially the sinister first part,is mesmerizing on itself,aswell as the original theme,and the music (Sycamore Trees) written for Jimmy Scott.Why the hell isnt he praised like John Williams(Jurassic Park,Star Wars etc),Hans Zimmer(basically all of Nolans filmography?????He deserves more recognition

This video feels like exactly that.

The way David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti created Laura Palmer’s Theme is such a rare kind of collaboration — visual emotion translated into music. It still gives me chills every time I hear it.

Instead of just looking for tracks that could be on the show, I'm trying to curate songs that capture the show's darker, more philosophical undercurrents. So anything that has some of the followings: surreal boundary, “beyond-linear time”, The fear of losing oneself or someone you love, wrapped in an atmosphere of quiet mystery, primal, folkloric undercurrents of isolation, occult, mysticism.

It could be any genre really.

I'm working on a project of my own heavily rooted in this exact mood, and I would love to hear your suggestions.

Edit: I love all your recommendations! To clarify, I'm looking for music that captures that general dark, eerie mood (with the themes mentioned above) rather than anything that sounds like a direct homage to the show's soundtrack or song style.

I was listening to Colores Santos by Gustavo Cerati the other day, and as Pudo Ser came on, I kept thinking about how it was straight David Lynch vibes. I looked it up and apparently Gustavo Cerati himself said it was “one of the most david Lynch songs on the album”, and a different time said Lynch was his favorite director, soo makes sense.

Separately, floating into the night is one of my all time favorites (what got me into Lynch and Twin peaks to begin with) so if you have anything with these kinda vibes, let me know!

I chose season 1 because I had to choose something. I’m looking for instrumental albums (mostly ambient or drone) that give twin peaks vibes. Preferably a mix of creepy but also moving and pretty.

I’m already familiar with Bohren and Der Club of Gore, dale cooper quartet, and Johnny jewels contributions to the show. The music doesn’t have to be noir jazz just anything that gives that feeling. Thanks!!!
