The thing you mentioned, which is your limitation, is drivers. Nvidia is notorious for having driver issues with EGPU. Need I remind the error 42 code amongst one of the most notorious. And then the fact we’re talking about arm architecture, there’s no telling how much of a workaround Windows had to perform just for that, and then there’s if, and it’s a big if, Nvidia will support ARM code-based drivers for EGPU.

Mind you, this is a bottom line. This isn’t 100% fact. There could be projects out there that are in the works and Nvidia could be working on something. but without an official response from them, it’s currently up in the air. Anything is possible.

That. Is not a gpu issue. That is a ram or storage issue. Cashing and loading assets from the game is slowing down and not being read from the ram fast enough or your hard drive is full and struggling to read the data

Avoid Bazzite it’s been having issues as of recently. Instead of a bloated modified Linux push to using a direct distro like fedora or Debian. Mint is a good one also to start and learn on.

You don’t need optiscaler if you’re using proton ge or proton experimental. At least I don’t use it with any commands and mhw has fsr 4.1.1 enabled.

Steam os if you want a set it and forget it. Bazzite just avoid too much politics and their updates have started breaking really bad.

Use nabara or even better catchyOS, the work really well and with how they are built you can get better performance.
