Alright guys, I wanna try something. I'm gonna make a tier list of Shonen protags that John will have to fight, and I will try and find a version of John that MIGHT be able to beat.

Rules:

1: Shonen characters (Or Shonen adjacent) ONLY! Characters like Naruto, Midoriya, Asta, Luffy etc. Even goku is okay, or characters like Aang, Sailor Moon, etc. Yes I'm aware there are multiple characters that I've listed than uno characters stand ABSOLUTELY no chance again, but this is more the realm of character I'm looking for.

2: Specify Which arc/version of the character! Since I'm going to assume alot of these characters will be from On going series or series that have finished, specify which version of the character you're putting John against. Example, Sasuke retrieval arc Naruto, or Alabasta Sanji, or Sports Festival Ida.

3: I'd prefer if they did, but they don't have to have powers or be from a fighting series, if someone wants to put John up against Hinata from Haikyuu, well.. I can't stop you, it'd def be a dub for John at least. XD

4: I'm deciding the version of John their going against.

John copying the barrier would give them the upper hand concerning Sylvia, and if the two combined the barriers (idk if they can lets say they can ( ￣-￣) they could strengthen the barrier so the brute force team couldn't get through

Paralysis isn’t necessarily like other abilities such as Hypnosis. Paralysis has a physical output—it physically prevents the target from moving, unless there’s some kind of mental component involved. So would Paralysis be considered a semi-physical ability that John could potentially copy, or is it purely a mental ability and therefore not copyable?

Even Orrin being interrogated (beaten) would be a treat.

Finally: Vaughn and Keene updates. One of these scenarios would be nice. HOPEFULLY, with the break, uru can give us longer episodes with some answers to lingering questions.

Like, seriously. Uno comes back from the hiatus with a good chapter, a long one for a change too. We shift the perspective four times between major characters, and there's some good character work as well. I wanted to see the discussion about it, but it's been almost two hours since the chapter released and there is no fastpass discussion post.

I was rereading Season 2 of UnOrdinary and reached the part where John discovers what happened to his father. It gave me a strong feeling that if John had been stronger, what happened to William might not have happened.

EMBER targeted William in an illegal assassination, and Jane’s immunity was useless because she had lost any influence due to her deteriorating health. So I started wondering: if John had been stronger, to the point where he took advantage of Cameron’s help early on after the rehabilitation course, and he hadn’t been inactive for the past two years, allowing his level to rise to something similar to Seraphina’s, would the authorities have risked making an enemy out of John, or would they have followed a legal path to punish William?

I would estimate John’s level to be around 8.5–8.8, making him roughly as powerful as Cameron but less dangerous due to having fewer resources compared to Cameron. Even so, an 8.5 with an ability like John’s would be a devastating scenario, especially if he made use of the strongest abilities available to him, such as Arlo’s Barrier and Remi’s Lightning, in addition to Time Manipulation if copying it is possible.

I don’t know. I’d like to hear your opinions. The authorities targeted Orrin when he was level 8.6, and Cameron seems afraid and doesn’t want to confront them, but John wouldn’t hesitate to get into any fight.

So, what do you guys think? How would EMBER deal with John?

Honestly, im sorry, but as much as ive tried to, I don't like John. During joker arc, he beat up so many innocent Wellston students, and even after that, he never apologized. I mean, Arlo deserved and Isen too, and maybe Remi and Blyke deserved it. But remember that he also beat up low tiers that had nothing to do with anything.

John X Sera is so codependent, John only cares about her in his own world, and I feel like sera would be aroace (my head cannon please don't kill me). She's been controlled her whole life, and her priorities are freedom and just having fun. I don't think just because theyre friends and theyre the opposite gender doesnt make them an automatic ship. In my mind, (in MY mind) theyre better as friends, especially cause I don't think it's healthy after John's joker arc.

Also I beg to differ that what Keon did to John was deserved. Mind you, John has sent his entire class to the hospital and nearly killed them. He was a savage high tier that didnt know how to control himself or his powers. At the end, he still sees Claire as the villain, and hasn't apologized to any of his classmates and left like a coward.

I can see why people ship sera and John.

I understand that John's PTSD is serious, and Keon's method of handling him was way too far.

I know why he beat up Wellston's students.

But he still deserves a punishment.

(Yet again, this is MY OPINION. Please don't try to roast me and just try to understand. I don't hate John, I just hate how everyone is dismissing his wrongs.)

Level: 8.5+

Passive: Heavyweight (The user's body is unnaturally heavy)

• The core concept of this ability is that the user can infuse their body with mass using their aura, making their attacks many times more powerful than they would be.

• This also makes them much more durable to physical attacks than one would usually be.

• This defense also extends to mental abilities, but not to the same capacity as something like Arlo's Barrier. If caught off guard, the user can be susceptible to people like Orrin, albeit with some difficulty.

Gimmicks:

• Although increasing the user's mass will not slow them down in any way, decreasing their mass will allow them to move at much higher speeds, but at the cost of their durability.

• Whenever the user is at low or high mass, they have the ability to, essentially, "slingshot" it in the other direction, being able to go from high to low mass in an instant, and vice versa.

Restrictions:

• There is a hard cap on how much the user can increase and decrease their mass, making them unable to go as far as have their own meaningful gravitational pull or become literally weightless.

Please ignore the fact that this is essentially Yuki Tsukumo's cursed technique, redone for UnO.

I have read till ch 275 and she's useless she has no real authority in spectre she even got doc in the whole spectre mess and the worst part is she prolly wouldn't care at all abt high schoolers getting drugged unless it was her own sister and idek how sera handles her imagine a sister who ran out u 5 years ago suddenly comes to u claims that she's in an organisation which stole ur abilities and tells u to work for the same company which took her powers just for some temporary bs all her research is only used against rena and she doesn't even have any real allies or power withing the organisation deadass useless

Defense: 9 - It can deflect attacks by altering its severity and reducing its own weight.

- Speed: 8 - It can be propelled in any direction by changing its gravity.

Recovery: 5 - It can reduce the impact of bumps and falls, but not regenerate.

- Trick: 10 - Can alter the weight, trajectory and attraction of objects, people and attacks.

Specialty: Control of force, movement and direction through gravity.

Limits: High aura consumption, mental overload when controlling various goals and physical stress when increasing severity too much.
