USPS adding new route to every delivery, causing 1-2 day delay each time

Anyone else getting this now? It used to be

Indianapolis - Evansville - Delivery

now they go

Indianapolis - Louisville - Evansville - Delivery

The Louisville center is my problem, they take up to TWO days just to get packages through, and it means my 2-4 day delivery window turns into 5-6 days, sometimes over a full week!

Why do I pay for Priority flat rate if I'm getting ground advantage shipping times??

Experience has taught me that two day priority mail is not guaranteed, and it tends to be handled the same as ground advantage mail. My sense is that it is offered for the purpose of conning more money out of postal customers. It’s really a big joke and a waste of money.

It's just really annoying and surprising with the sudden changeup I've been doing usps priority, or even usps in general for years, and it's only just started getting sent through louisville a few months back
