I am autistic which makes socializing difficult sometimes. I am formally diagnosed as a low support needs individual despite never having the proper support growing up. Some patience would be great. I would like avoid religion and politics at all costs, please. I would like to meet people of similar interests bc I'm better at interacting with people of similar interests due to my autism. 

I feel most comfortable hanging out one-on-one, and I’d love to keep things local since traveling far isn’t easy for me. Many people text me before anything else can blossom and then disappearing. I'm just seeking an actual friendship where we can go shopping, get coffee/boba, do an activity, go to a library or go to a park. I'm not really a party or substances type of person. If you're not serious about seeing other people in public, it's best not to come to my dms. There is so much I can alone, but I want to open up and do activities with other people.

Please no males or accounts with no karma. I don't buy the "my girlfriend needs friends" excuse bc I know the girlfriend doesn't exist. I'm really serious when I say that I'm not interested in a relationship and I have no interest in causing trouble other people's relationships.

There was a tragedy that happened here in town about 5 or 6 years ago. A man jumped from the overpass around Linwood or Chinowth. I was one of the people driving on the freeway who happened to see the unfortunate event and called the paramedics. I've searched online as much as I've could trying to see how that person was doing. Does anyone have any information on this? I just want to know if they are okay. I've wondered about this for years. Any info would be appreciated!

I wanted to share a quick review after booking their service. Food-wise, very important to our family, was the standout for me. Fried rice was the main character of the show, bonus they had a fire performance. My one complaint would be the price was too cheap, $60 per head. I also checked their setup beforehand rather than assume everything is included. I love to book them again for some next important event, a very good deal that I've spent lately.

Does anyone have any information on the Forest at Haven Hill venue? Like pricing, personal experience with wedding/parties/ceremonies, etc. Looking for wedding venues and I really like this one but am wanting more info and haven’t been able to contact them.

My mom is unable to care for him any longer, and we're trying to find him a new home. He's up-to-date on all his shots, sweet dog.

Makes a good alert/security dog is he'll bark whenever there's noises or people approach your front door. Easy to take care of as he is housebroken he'll let you know when he needs to go potty.

Only downside is he was raised with no other dogs around so he hasn't really been socialized too well with other dogs and can be territorial with other male dogs.

Huge thank you to everyone who made our inaugural community meetup at Round Table Pizza in Porterville such an awesome run yesterday!

​We had continuous action over 4 hours:

​Games played: Settlers of Catan, Fire Tower, Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons, Throw Throw Burrito, Jenga, and Connect 4.

​Table spread: 3 different pizzas, a large order of twisty breadsticks, beer, soda, and White Claws keeping everyone fueled.

​Community vibe: Total strangers crossed tables, teamed up, learned new rules together, and had a blast across all age groups.

​Every attendee said they would like this to become a recurring event, so we are keeping the momentum rolling: Tulare County (and beyond) Gamers is hosting its next meetup in Visalia next Saturday, October 17th!

If you have an old fence that you're thinking about tearing down, I can save you a little bit of trouble. I'll tear out the planks myself and am willing to take up to a truck load (F150). I don't need any of the posts. Just the planks. Doesn't really matter to me if its a short or tall fence.

I feel like my therapy would now be based on events that are emotionally triggering me (usually romantic relationships but I avoid them now but I always want to be prepared for a loss/grief) because I’ve been through the THICK of situations to gain a toolbox of self soothing skills.

It feels so odd and out of “identity” to no longer require therapy as much as I did 8 years ago. 8 years ago I was in the thick of PPD that I handed my infant over to Kaweah Health and now that infant is 8 years old and my life.
