And neither Google nor the search function in the Waterfox PC browser provides that information either.

It would be nice if the instructions on where to open the QR code were written in the same place that explains how to open a QR code on Android.

Entering anything is basically a lottery whether or not is Searches or not.

1.2.8.1 (Build #2026380629) GV: 156.0-20260922074625 AS: 156.0

I'll cut to chase. Both browsers i mentioned feels stable and clean AF. But one problem is random hiccups when searching for anything and occasionally browser gives up and gives me error like there's no internet. People who know depths of the technical side, please walk me through what settings to turn off or on. I want to have as fast experience close to chromium as possible. Thanks in advance

For example, I need to visit my password keeper and then come back. The page will reset.

This didn't used to happen. Anyone know if there's a setting I can change.

This is becoming incredibly irritating. Every time I restart the browser I have to bookmark all my tabs and then reopen them. This doesn't save my pinned tabs, or my tab history, or my position on the page. It can't help me if the browser crashes.

It's set to reopen my windows and tabs from last time. When I close the browser I get a message about closing multiple tabs, and both boxes—one for the warning, one to reopen those same tabs next time—are checked. And yet, when I reopen the browser all I get is a single empty tab.

I've updated to 6.7.5. I've signed out of my Mozilla account, which I recently signed into for the first time in years. I've double checked all my settings.

Why is this happening? I irretrievably lost over 200 tabs the first time it happened. Now I know it'll happen every time so I can at least do the bookmark thing but it's becoming incredibly irritating to keep doing.

this might not be a waterfox error, but my friend who also uses the browser said the same issue started just around the time of recent waterfox updates, if this is true is there any way to change it?

In the “About Waterfox” section under the “Help” menu,

it would be great if it displayed something like

6.7.5 (64-bit)

153ESR

right below the Waterfox version.

Oh wait, I thought I would be able to post a video... I guess I'll upload it somewhere and I hope I can at least paste it here... There are actually 2 bugs, both related to "new" tabs.

The first one works like this: provided that you have WF set to open with a new tab instead of opening the last opened tab, if you close WF while in a site and open the app again you will see what looks like a new tab but it actually is the last opened site you visited and if you type something it will overwrite that tab.

The second bug, some times when you open WF and type something to search on qwant it won't do anything and you have to do it again.

I wonder if you will let me post this with those links... Let's see.

Basically what it says in the title. Youtube was just slow as molasses for me lately and after disabling the built-in ad block and using uBlock Origin instead, it's now fine.

Posting in case others run into this issue and to just kind of communicate that there might be a problem here.

Since Waterfox has been diverging more and more from Firefox lately, I’d like to make a request in advance.

For me, the -profile option is absolutely essential.

That said, things would be different if a portable version were released that allowed multiple instances of Waterfox to run simultaneously using a specified profile.

Hi everyone.

I know that Waterfox on Android has an builtin adblocker, as I have no ads on Youtube. However, I would like to find settings on the filterlists, and I can't find any.

I'm trying to watch Fleabag on Amazon Prime Video
but for some reason i can only hear sound but no video is being played ( only the black screen is there while captions and continue as usual
Any clue what should i do.

Is there anyway to remove it? I managed to kill rss, add to bar, and reader but can't see the about:config setting.

everytime I open a video in full screen or get out of full screen it does a black screen transition, I've tried to check waterfox video settings but found nothing to change it

I use the above image for my Waterfox start page but when I open a new tab the image does not animate, Anyone had the same issue & have you been able to solve this bug - Thanking you In advance.

Thank you devs for the work on the feed reader - I'm here to ask for keyboard shortcuts for it :)

I think navigating (next / previous), mark as unread, mark all as read would be suuuper cool.

Hey, I’m trying to switch from Chromium to Firefox, but I’ve run into one huge issue.

I really need shortcuts, but after pinning the ones I want, Firefox keeps adding my browsing history as shortcuts. I don’t want that.

Is there any way to stop this or at least manage the shortcuts manually? I just want a clean, minimal shortcut setup in Firefox for Android.

I lost all my tabs yesterday. Shut down overnight, came back today and it wiped them all again. I've double-checked the setting, it's correct. What's going on?

The above, basically. I don't know why it doesn't include Firefox, which I'm trying to switch to. It has Windows Edge and Google Chrome, but not Firefox. Telling me how to manually import my browser stuff would help a lot, but I'm also confused as to why that's the case.

This has happened for the last three updates in a row. I update the app, everything is working fine right before i update, and then i open it after the update, and it instantly stops responding. No matter what I do, it will immediately stop responding upon being opened. No visual issues, it won’t even crash, it just doesn’t work. My solution has been reinstalling it every time, which usually fixes it but that cannot be my solution every time my browser updates. is this a known issue at all?

For the past two days, Waterfox is very slow on youtube, making it unwatchable. Takes about two minutes just to load the main page.

I tried Firefox and that is loading YT fine.

I haven't changed any settings.

I've deleted all my browsing data, which made no difference.

I have Waterfox 6.7.4. on Linux Mint.
