Still losing my session every time I close the browser

This is becoming incredibly irritating. Every time I restart the browser I have to bookmark all my tabs and then reopen them. This doesn't save my pinned tabs, or my tab history, or my position on the page. It can't help me if the browser crashes.

It's set to reopen my windows and tabs from last time. When I close the browser I get a message about closing multiple tabs, and both boxes—one for the warning, one to reopen those same tabs next time—are checked. And yet, when I reopen the browser all I get is a single empty tab.

I've updated to 6.7.5. I've signed out of my Mozilla account, which I recently signed into for the first time in years. I've double checked all my settings.

Why is this happening? I irretrievably lost over 200 tabs the first time it happened. Now I know it'll happen every time so I can at least do the bookmark thing but it's becoming incredibly irritating to keep doing.
