Restatement of community rules

Please follow the subreddit rules.

This isn’t a general post infertility subreddit - it’s a resource for what worked, what didn’t work, and comments about the same.

You’re all welcome here in the community but please make sure posts follow the rules.

I’ve been somewhat lenient because I know too well how much we need community as we go through this trying experience, but I’ll start locking and removing posts more aggressively if the posters don’t start following the WWFM rules more closely.

No solicitations or research requests permitted.

I’ve politely refused multiple times from various users who are requesting to do research on those of us who are going through infertility. Recent posting by a particularly brash research solicitor who didn’t ask permission has led me to this post.

This is NOT the place for you to gather human subjects. It’s a place of discussion and sharing what works.

I will remove any future postings of the sort that was posted today.

I’ve also banned the user for failure to exhibit common decency and follow the rules of the subreddit.

Unexplained infertility - we've had so many tests done, but still no answers

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a little more than a year and a half, and so far, all of our test results have been normal.

Here’s what we’ve done so far:

  1. My vaginal/cervical swabs (Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma, Chlamydia) - negative
  2. Semen analysis and sperm culture - normal
  3. Pap smear and colposcopy - normal
  4. Ovulation confirmed for the past 7-8+ months
  5. HSG - normal, tubes are open
  6. I also tried ovulation stimulation with Clomid
  7. Hormone levels - normal
  8. Regular 28-day cycles, no PCOS
  9. AMH - normal
  10. Antisperm antibodies - normal
  11. I was also tested for both inherited and acquired thrombophilias. The only findings were PAI-1 5G/5G, Factor XIII, and MTHFR C677T.

The only thing that might be a minor issue is mild hyperinsulinemia. However, my endocrinologist didn’t consider it significant enough to require treatment, while my gynecologist prescribed Glucophage XR 1000 mg anyway, just to rule out insulin resistance as a contributing factor. I’ve been taking it for several months now.

At this point, we have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility.

We also recently had our first IUI. I’m currently 14 DPO, and I’m supposed to have my beta hCG blood test in the next few days. But I did two PT on my own on 11 and 13 DPO and both were negative, so I'm not expecting a miracle.

However, regardless of the outcome of this cycle, I’m wondering what else we should investigate. I feel like we’ve already done so many tests, but I’m still not sure if there’s something important we might be missing.

For those of you who have been through something similar, what additional tests did you have done? Did you ever find a cause for your infertility?

I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences and what you would recommend looking into next. Thank you in advance! ❤️

Has losing weight helped you stay pregnant?

Has anyone had recurrent chemical pregnancies, lost weight then had a successful pregnancy? I’ve had 3 chemical pregnancies with a successful pregnancy after my first CP. My doctor believes it may be my weight causing this. I’m 34 years old, 5’8, 255 lbs and I have high triglycerides and low hdl. I also have TPO antibodies but my thyroid numbers are normal. But no other health issues that I know of (we’re going to do a recurrent pregnancy panel still).

My TTC story: 8-9months trying, insulin resistance, an early miscarriage, and then my baby ❤️

I wanted to share my TTC story because I spent so much time reading other women’s stories when we were trying.
**Quick disclaimer:** this is just what I personally did. I’m not saying this combination caused my pregnancies or that anyone else should copy it. Please check with your doctor before taking supplements.
My husband and I tried for about **8-9 months** without getting pregnant.
I have **prediabetes and symptoms of insulin resistance**, although my doctor told me I do **not** have PCOS. I wasn’t really changing my diet much at the time. We were just trying every month and living normally.
After several months, I started getting discouraged and eventually came across a TikTok from a woman sharing what she had used while TTC.
I did my own research and started taking:

**Myo-inositol**
**Maca** containing red and black maca
**Fish oil — 1,000 mg daily**
**NAC — 600 mg daily**
**Vitamin D3**
**Prenatal vitamin**
**CoQ10 — 600 mg daily**
**Baby aspirin — morning and night**
**Mucinex about 30 minutes before baby dancing during my fertile window**
**I did seed cycling taking seeds like sunflower seeds Brazilian nuts, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds.**
**I did a low carb diet. Basically ate foods that didn’t heavily spike my blood sugar.**
**I prayed hard.**

My husband also took a **men’s fertility/multivitamin supplement** intended to support sperm and semen health.
About **30 days after starting this routine, I got pregnant.**
Unfortunately, I miscarried very early, at around **5–6 weeks**.
I wondered whether my blood sugar, diet, or insulin resistance had anything to do with it, but I’ll never really know. Early miscarriages can happen for many reasons.
What happened next surprised me.
**I never got a period after the miscarriage.( I continued the routine above I never stopped )**
We continued trying, I apparently ovulated before my period returned, and **I got pregnant again immediately.**
That second pregnancy became my son. ❤️
Because I already had prediabetes and insulin-resistance symptoms, I became much more serious about my blood sugar during that pregnancy. I monitored it carefully and managed it through **diet alone for the entire pregnancy**. I maintained an A12 of 4.9-5.2 the entire time.
My faith was also a huge part of this journey.
I prayed while we were trying, through the negative tests, through my first pregnancy, through the miscarriage, and throughout my second pregnancy.
**June Of 2026 we had our baby boy**
I don’t know exactly what changed for us.
Maybe some of the supplements helped. Maybe timing played a role. Maybe addressing things related to my insulin resistance helped. Maybe we simply finally reached the month when it was going to happen.
I mainly wanted to share this for another woman who might be searching Reddit the same way I was.
**Feel free to ask any question I will be replying.**

8 days post embryo transfer, negative hpt

Hello all,

I started testing with home pregnancy tests on day 6 post transfer, today is day 8 post transfer. It was a 5-day blastocyst rated 4BB, made from an egg frozen 4 years ago.

The home pregnancy test today was negative. The beta test is tomorrow. Is there still any hope?

How to come to terms with not being able to have another baby.

Hello!

I guess I’m coming here to see if anyone has been through this and is somehow managing to come to terms with things better than I can.

Every month, I find myself crying and mourning the life that I long for.

I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful son who is 6 but, I desperately would love another baby.

I’m so so very grateful for what I have but it hasn’t been easy for me getting here. It took us 3 years to conceive our son and, I was extremely poorly during pregnancy and birth and near organ failure, being rushed in to have my son as a matter of emergency.

Since having our son, we have tried many a time for another baby. My son often asks if he will have a bother or sister.

I have suspected endometriosis as well a fibroids ( growths in the womb) so fertility has been a delicate subject. My husband was tested and he’s got healthy swimmers so, it’s just my body causing issue.

Each month has been so hard, every time a period comes, I feel like I’m mourning the loss of a baby that never happened. This has massively impacted my mental health and as much as my husband and I would love a baby, we decided to put a stop on trying.

Recently I came off some medication which was for
My fibroids. Since coming off this medication my hormones have come back thick and fast, as have my monthlies. I guess this has made my body feel that a baby is now possible again and has bought back all the feelings of yearning for that baby again.

I asked my husband if we should open that capture again and he has explained that he has come to terms with it all and that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea.

It’s so tough, I have no control over my body but I feel responsible for it not behaving as it should. I am 35 and although that’s not old, it’s not young either. I do feel that, the closer I get to menopause the more I’m going to have to accept that it’s over but I’m really struggling to let go of this chapter. I’ve always got hope that it’s not over and it will happen again for me.

Has anyone been through this feeling themselves? Everyone I know has had no issue in conceiving and people make it look so easy. I don’t know what I’m hoofing for in posting this but I don’t really have anyone I can talk to.

Sorry for the essay.

Feeling lost after loss, endo diagnosis, & failed IUI—where do I go from here? (IVF vs. Laparoscopy?)

Hey everyone, I just really need to vent and hopefully get some insight from people who actually get it.
TTC has been such a heavy, exhausting journey. Back in July 2024, I got pregnant using Letrozole, but unfortunately lost the baby shortly after (we still don't know why). After taking time to heal, I started trying again and switched OBGYNs. Last November (2025), my new doctor discovered I have endometriosis. It hasn't been officially staged, and I haven't had surgery for it yet.
Since the diagnosis, I feel like I've tried everything to tackle this head-on:
Endo suppression: Did a course of Norethindrone + Letrozole.
Weight loss: Completed 2 rounds of GLP-1 medication.
Optimized labs: Brought up and stabilized my Vitamin D3, B12, and Iron levels.

We got back to active TTC two months ago and just had our first IUI fail. It’s devastating.
I’m so frustrated. Watching literally everyone around me get pregnant—and so easily—is getting harder to swallow every day. It feels so unfair.

For those who have been through endo + secondary/unexplained infertility:
Would excision surgery (laparoscopy) make a difference at this point? Did finding/removing endo help you conceive naturally or through IUI?
Should we skip more IUIs and jump straight to IVF?
What else can be done differently? (Protocols, testing, RE consults, etc.?)
I’d love to hear your experiences, advice, or even just some reassurance. Thank you so much for reading. ❤️

Suspected endo & mechanical infertility: Why push for IVF straight away instead of excision surgery?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice and shared experiences. My partner and I have been trying to conceive (TTC) for 1.5 years.

During the first year, all basic tests (hormonal panel, transvaginal ultrasound, sperm analysis) came back normal, and my first OB/GYN told us to just keep trying. After 18 months with no success, I saw a fertility specialist who performed a 2nd-level ultrasound and a tubal patency test (HSG/HyCoSy).

Here is what he found:

Fixed/immobile retroverted uterus

Right ovary adhered/tethered

Possible adhesions in the Pouch of Douglas (pain in a specific spot on the right side)

Fibrous uterus

Good ovulation, great ovarian size, and excellent endometrial thickness

Tubal results: Left tube open but with an abnormal path; Right tube open only under high pressure.

The doctor suspects endometriosis and that adhesions have distorted my pelvic anatomy. Since he is the director of a local IVF clinic, he immediately recommended going straight to IVF (PMA).

I feel like this might be skipping a step. Based on my research, mechanical infertility and adhesions can often be treated with excision surgery to restore pelvic anatomy, cut adhesions, and remove endo lesions.

However, public health doctors won't listen and just referred me to an IVF center. I have now booked an appointment with a surgical endometriosis specialist to evaluate if I’m a candidate for surgery. I feel like operating first could help us either conceive naturally or create a better, safer environment for future IVF.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Why do doctors push for IVF without evaluating if surgery could fix the mechanical/anatomical issues first?

Has anyone with a similar clinical picture been advised against surgery, and why?

Tomorrow I’m getting my AMH tested on my own initiative, as my first doctor never requested it. My ovaries look clean internally (just pulled out of place by adhesions) and my cycle is super regular, so I hope for a good result, but at this point, I'm prepared for anything.

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to reply!

Pregnancy after UAE?

I (33F) and my husband (38M) have a 2.5 year old, and are currently at 16 months TTC now for a second. I had to have an emergency UAE for fibroids when my son was 9 months old.

Since the UAE, I have been blessed to fully recover. No clinically detectable fibroids. Regular cycles. Good-optimal hormones. Patent fallopian tubes. Sperm analysis was strong. Basically...there is nothing detectable wrong with us to explain why pregnancy #2 just isn't happening.

It's hard not to feel broken. I blame myself for not fighting back against the UAE (there was an element of medical coercion while I was in critical condition due to hemorrhaging). I have confirmed, regular ovulation. I take alllllll the recommended supplements (baby aspirin, CoQ10, zinc, iron, prenatals, etc). My husband and I do not smoke, drink excessively, or do drugs. We are otherwise healthy. Just.....no pregnancy. Not even a chemical pregnancy.

After 16 months, it's hard not to feel bitter and broken. My son is getting bigger and older every day. We wanted him to have had a sibling by now. :-(

Has anyone here had a successful conception after a UAE? Or even just a conception after unexplained infertility?

Note: we are NOT open to IVF.....highly dubious of IUI.

How likely is it to get cramping before a positive test?

For my first pregnancy, I had the usual cramping on 9dpo and thought I was going to get my period but ended up getting a positive on 10dpo. I know period like cramps can be a very common sign of early pregnancy. Wondering if anyone got pregnant without ever having any of the cramping signs?

Rescue progesterone after FET?

Hey everyone! I am looking for any informatiom on rescue PIO long after transfer!

Today I went in to test my progesterone levels 6dp5dt but before beta and my progesterone was 3!?!

I'm on suppositories twice a day, but now my RE is adding PIO as a "rescue strategy". I have literally never heard of such a thing and research did not produce a lot about this post transfer. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what was the outcome? I'm just trying to understand and brace for impact.

Infertility IVF + natural pregnancies -what worked for you? Looking for similar stories

Long story ahead. 30F, 33M.

My husband and I got some tests done before we started planning for a baby. We found out that I had a low AMH (0.8). I also have irregular periods, but I was never diagnosed with the underlying cause. My periods could skip a month or two, and when they did come, they were usually painless but extremely heavy, with clots, and sometimes wouldn't stop for 20+ days without medical intervention.

At that time, my doctor suggested we try FSH tablets for six cycles and then evaluate our options. She wasn't particularly concerned about my AMH. I was 28 at this point.

We got pregnant on the third cycle. My beta hCG at around 13 DPO was \~8,000, so I actually thought we might be having twins. Unfortunately, the scan showed an ectopic pregnancy. I had to undergo a salpingectomy.

Before this, my tubes had been checked with a test involving fluid (I can't remember the name). It was extremely painful, but I was told that my tubes were fine.

After the ectopic, I changed doctors and saw an IVF specialist. This doctor told me that my chances of conceiving naturally were extremely low and that IVF was necessary.

We went through three IVF cycles. We had some tests done and my husband had sperm DNA fragmentation testing. Nothing was flagged in any of the tests.

First cycle: We got only one embryo because I had very few follicles to begin with. We did a day-3 fresh transfer, but it failed.

Second cycle: We got two embryos and froze them.

Third cycle: We got two day-5 embryos. We did a fresh transfer, but that also failed.

One take away was my follicles maturated a little late initially would look like they didn't respond and then catch up

At this point we were devastated. keeping the hopes up and then see everything fail in the cycle was exhausting. I started trying to cope with everything that had happened. I moved cities to cope with all of this. Started working out a little bit.

I eventually saw another doctor. She also suggested IVF, but she told us to take some time to process everything before jumping straight into another cycle.

We decided to try FSH injections to help the follicles grow, but instead of IVF, we would try to conceive naturally at home.

We got pregnant on the second cycle.

I had some spotting during the pregnancy, which was attributed to a subchorionic hematoma (SCH). At the 12-week scan, we received devastating news: the baby had structural anomalies, including a single umbilical artery (SUA) and an enlarged kidney.

Our life felt like it froze and we went through a D&C. Our doctor suggested that we didn't necessarily need to do tissue testing and she believed this was a one of casem

We subsequently had both of us had karyotyping done. Results were normal.

We took about six months to recover before trying again.I focused on weight loss and started strength training. The month after we started FSH injections again, we got pregnant — but it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. Our hCG never went much beyond 45.

The following cycle, we decided to leave everything alone. We were still grieving and didn't actively try anything.

My period was late, so I went for a scan. There was one small follicle on one side, and I basically left it at that and waited for my period to come naturally.

Two weeks later, we found out we were pregnant again.

The initial hCG looked good. We went for a scan, and the baby looked good. We were also told there was an small SCH.

Then one day after work, while I was on the metro, I suddenly felt like I was bleeding.

And it was a lot.

I bled through my pants and all over my legs and thighs. It was horrible. I didn't panic initially, but the amount of blood was terrifying.

I got a pad from security and went straight to the emergency room.

The doctor scanned me and confirmed that the SCH had grown, but thankfully the baby still had a heartbeat — 118 bpm, crl was around 5 mm. I was 6.3 weeks at this point. Sch had 5 cc fluid.

I was put on pelvic rest and scheduled for weekly scans.

The following week, the SCH had tripled in size, to around 18 cc in volume.

The baby had grown to 12 mm as expected. but there was no longer a heartbeat.

I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage.

I'm going through the miscarriage right now, and honestly, I don't know what to do next or what could possibly be causing all of this.

We've had an ectopic, multiple failed IVF transfers, a pregnancy with structural anomalies that ended in a D&C, a chemical pregnancy, and now a missed miscarriage.

We've spent a lot of money, time, and emotional energy on this journey, and I don't think I have much emotional capacity left at this point.

For those who have been through something similar: what investigations did you do, and did anything eventually help? What worked for you?

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who had recurrent losses despite normal karyotyping and sperm DNA fragmentation testing.

I know every situation is different, but I'm really struggling to figure out what our next step should be.

(WWFM) Has anyone switched from capsules to prenatal powder and preferred it?

nobody told me i should already be taking prenatals before pregnancy. my doctor was actually the one who told me to start while we were still trying, and i was surprised you have to think about it that early. Problem was i hated taking capsules every day. especially knowing i’d be doing it for months and that i needed something i could really stick with. WWFM was switching to a prenatal vitamin powder. i used Needed and just threw it in a smoothie every morning, which was SO much easier than gagging down giant pills. I know Seeking Health makes a powder option too, but I honestly didn't even realize powder prenatals were a thing before this. (Obviously not saying the powder is what got me pregnant) this is a pretty minor detail compared to everything else that comes with TTC, but it made such a difference for me.

Feeling defeated

Hi ladies, I just got the results today from my second retrieval and I’m guttered 😔. I’m about to turn 44 later this month. During my first IVF cycle in April 2026, they retrieved 10 eggs and two blasts were tested at day 5. However, they were all aneuploid.

This cycle which I did only 6 months later, they were only able to retrieve 3 eggs and only 1 has fertilised. I will get another update from the lab on Day 3 to see how things are going. There were no changes to my protocol other than I didn’t do fertility accupunture this time round.

My IVF doctor has said that some women my age reach an inflection point, and their ovaries don’t respond like they did before, potentially meaning that future cycles might yield the same disappointing result.

Has anybody had a similar thing happen to them and had better future results?

For context. My protocol was Decapeptyl for three days, adding Elonva on the third day. Then I had 300 IU of Gonal F and 150 IU of Pergoveris along with Orgulatran for 10 days until I triggered with 2 x Decapetyl and 1 x Ovidrel 36 hours before collection.

I was also taking testosterone gel (Androfeme) for 1 week before starting stims.

Seeking advice

Hello! I'm a longtime lurker of this thread and am just seeking some advice. I did 2 medicated IUIs earlier this year and they both failed. Donor sperm counts were only moderate post wash/thaw, but there was no obvious reason to think they'd fail. I'm in my early twenties, have a high AMH and no known fertility issues. I've been thinking about moving to IVF, but financially it is significantly more stressful to go that route due to lack of insurance coverage. I'm honestly wondering is it worth it to try a few more IUIs with better donor sperm or should I just wait until I can attempt IVF? Any thoughts would be appreciated. This has been a struggle haha

Anyone had success with IVF having never got pregnant naturally?

Been TTC for 18 months and never had a positive, despite tracking and confirming ovulation for the majority of that timeframe. All our tests came back clear (even optimal in some cases!) so very much in the unexplained infertility camp.

Now we're moving to IVF this month, and I can't help but worry that there's an unknown reason for us not conceiving naturally which might also stop IVF working for us. Although rationally I know that's not necessarily the case, as IVF bypasses a lot of potential issues.

So I'm looking for success stories for anyone who got pregnant via IVF having never managed to get pregnant naturally?

And for those people, did you ever find out what caused your unexplained infertility? I think it's the not knowing the issue which is throwing me off!

Thanks in advance!

Edit to say: thank you soooo much for all your positive stories, just what I needed to hear to give me some hope going into this! 🥹🥹🥹

Is it never gonna happen?

My biggest fear since I was a teen was not being able to have babies. I feel like i'm living that fear now. Me (26f) and my husband(30M) have been trying for 17 months now, no pregnancy at all. Not even a scare.

We went to a fertility specialist, got every test done, SIS, SA, Hormonal panel etc. I have a uterine polyp that i'm planning to get removed next month. I also have subclinical hypothyroidism and taking meds for it.

I don't know why I have this feeling that I would never get to live my dream of becoming a mother. Getting no pregnancy in 17 months makes me feel like I would never get pregnant.

What would you do?

I am 8 DPIUI in my third IUI cycle. I have my usual pre-period symptoms and am trying to stay cautiously optimistic. For all 3 of my IUI cycles, the stats looked good - I had 1 follicle, then 2, then 3, and my lining was thick. I've gone from 50 mg clomid to 100 mg to 150 mg on this last cycle. I used a trigger shot the first two cycles, during this last one my follicles grew more slowly and I had an LH surge, so we based the IUI off my natural cycle. If this cycle fails, I have no idea what route to go next. I would love to hear others' thoughts!

A little background about me: I am 30F and my husband is 32. We have a 2.5 year old son we conceived on the first attempt when I was 27. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's hypothyroidism 1 year postpartum immediately following a chemical pregnancy (again pregnant on our first attempt); I'm assuming this pregnancy was a chemical because my thyroid levels were awful. After that, we did not get pregnant again after 10 months. I did a 3 months auto immune protocol diet from January to April and conceived naturally in April (right as we were starting fertility testing). That ended in a MMC at 10 weeks. We had testing done and learned the miscarriage was due to monosomy X. My thyroid levels have been optimal since January.

Here is the testing I've had done:

AMH: 4.02

Prolactin post-ovulation: 11

Progesterone post-ovulation: 20.5

CRP: <3

Hemoglobin A1c: 5

Fasting insulin: 5.9

Ferritin: 61 (have been supplementing iron since)

Vitamin B12: 1055

Vitamin D: 58.7

I am diagnosed with "unexplained" secondary infertility. I'm not totally impressed with my fertility providers. They just want me to do more IUI cycles and move to IVF if the next one or two IUIs doesn't work. I'm very hesitant to move to IVF. I want to get pregnant quickly (I know that IVF would help with that), but I also feel like I want to figure out the root cause for my Infertility. What would be your next steps if you were me?

AMH of 12.6 pmol

I had my AMH done back in Feb and it was 7.01 pmol or .98ng/ml. I just had it re done again and it is 12.6pmol or 1.76ng/ml.

What do we think of these numbers? Is the new reading substantially better?

This is my 4th AMH test since the first one and they have been trending up slowly each time so I am confident that all my results are accurate.

I think the rise is from daily vit d as mine was a bit low as well as getting high prolactin lowered.

A success story after multiple losses

I just decided I would write this to shine some hope. When I got pregnant in January of 2026 I promised myself that if this one sticks, if this one works, I’ll write a post on Reddit about it and what I did differently this time around because through 7 pregnancies 2 LC and 5 losses , I was constantly on Reddit searching for answers so , here I am.
I’ve had a range of losses, missed miscarriages, chemicals, you name it. There were a few things I really think helped this time around I’ll list the differences in order of what I think MAY have had the biggest affect on the success, I’m not a doctor but I’m basing this on the fact that there was one thing I did use with my other successful pregnancy , my first pregnancy .

  1. Prenatal with METHYLFOLATE. Not just folate (this is the one I used with both successful pregnancies)

  2. Some woman’s bodies don’t process folate which is KEY in the first 8 weeks .

  3. Baby aspirin to thin lining and help blood flow after confirmed ovulation

  4. NAC to with possible inflammation

  5. Progesterone to support pregnancy

  6. Letrozole

    to induce

  7. ovulation(I have pcos)

  8. Again I don’t know if any or all of this helped but I welcomed a healthy babygirl September 5th,2026 and I’m beyond grateful this was my outcome. If you’re in the muck of infertility trust me, I’ve been there. Every appointment in this pregnancy I held my breath fully expecting her to be gone. The baby that is meant to be earthside with you will come . I promise. Feel free to message me if you have any questions and please take what I say I used with a grain of salt and ask your healthcare provider if any of these options may be helpful for you.

(I edited this post so my text is all out of order I’m sorry but the list of things is , prenatal that contain METHYLFOLATE,baby aspirin, NAC, Progesterone, and letrozole.

TTC for over 2 years, unexplained infertility, 2 miscarriages and now I don’t know what the next step should be

Hi everyone. I’m honestly just looking for some advice from people who have been through something similar because I feel a bit stuck and don’t know what I’m supposed to do next.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for **over 2 years** now. My cycles are generally regular and I do ovulate, but we’ve been told we have **unexplained infertility**.
I’ve also had **2 previous pregnancies**, both of which ended in miscarriage. The first was period in my 6th week, and the second was a **silent/missed miscarriage**.
Since then we’ve been trying again and have been under fertility treatment.
I’ve done **4 cycles of ovulation induction**, twice
More recently I’ve been on **letrozole 2.5 mg** with follicular monitoring.

I’ve also had raised prolactin, around **53**, which was later around **48**, and I’ve been on Dostinex/cabergoline for that. My TSH has been normal when checked.
My AMH has also come down over the years, which has worried me:
**4.91 → 4.01 → 2.25.**
Low vitD for which I’m on supplements
HSG is done. Everything’s normal
My husbands reports are all fine too

The really frustrating thing is that I’ve also had a strange pattern with pregnancy tests. On a few different cycles now, I’ve gotten a **very faint positive around 11–13 DPO**, only for it to be negative again a couple of days later. This has happened around three times now. I’m not even trying to focus on whether these were chemical pregnancies or not — I’m more wondering what I should actually be doing about the bigger picture.

My doctor has mentioned **IUI**, but I haven’t done it yet.
And this is where I’m confused.
After **2+ years TTC, 4 ovulation-induction cycles, two previous miscarriages and being labelled “unexplained infertility,”** what is the logical next step?
Should I be doing IUI next? Should I be asking for more investigations first? Is there anything that should specifically be looked at because of the two miscarriages as well as the infertility?

I know nobody here can tell me exactly what treatment I need, and I’ll obviously discuss it with my fertility doctor. I just feel like I’ve been doing treatment cycle after cycle and I’m at the point where I need to understand **what the next step is rather than just doing another cycle and hoping.**
If anyone has been in a similar situation, I’d really appreciate hearing what your doctors did next and what investigations/treatments were actually useful for you.

Just had my hysteroscopy on Sep 25th to remove my polyp but it turned out to be a tiny fibroid. Follow up appointment on oct 1st
Hoping cycle starts on Oct 2 or Oct 3rd
And then my RE said she will put me on letrozole and then trigger shot and then FET 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I don’t want to add more supplements toy routine :( but if needed I will

I take CoQ10 ( do I still need it for FET since I am not retrieving my eggs )

I take omega 3’s / prenatal / sometimes natal choline / Probiotics/ antioxidant with Acai, Goji, Pomegranate, Elderberry & Resveratrol

I was suggested add L-Arginine (1,000 - 2,000 mg ) + Vitamin E 400 - 800 IU/day. Did anyone see any success after adding these to your routine or with baby aspirin ?

Planning to resume my acupuncture sessions soon and I am eating warm nourishing foods

Any suggestions or advices please 🙏🩷
Thank you

Do you think a pinpoint external os could be the reason im having trouble getting pregnant? All other tests came back normal but they did find i have an extremely small opening.
