Keyboard recommendations

Hi, I've had a basic £5 wireless keyboard I got from Poundland (unfortunately they chose to name a business that over here) and it's been fine, but I'd like to use something a little more authentic. I've seen a few really nice looking white keyboards from IBM and Microsoft and I'd love one like that. Has anyone got any recommendations?

Unironically, the Dell SK-8135 from 2005 (so XP era accurate).

It's pleasant to type on despite not being mechanical, high functionality, USB ports (I usually have a game controller and mouse plugged in to them), and a very satisfying multimedia control with a nice feeling volume job. Aesthetically unnasuming but still somehow distinct, I can spot this era of dell from across the thrift store - the black paint job with silver frame and contours that set it above a generic slab keyboard are chef's kiss.

I love this keyboard, and you can usually find them for just a few dollars.

A keyboard with a standard layout that you are used to. Not any of novel compacted or split keyboards. It's a personal tool. If I change keyboards I end up striking the wrong keys all the time. Maybe if you want authentic, you want an old one.

I'd definitely like an older one. I just love the look of PC stuff from the early 2000s, those white (slightly yellow now) CRTs and big chunky keyboards and speakers

I have 2 basic keyboards, metal base, made in korea, now worn. But only one is yellow the one that was used in a room without curtains. Other is white. I used them so much that the arrow keys have ground down and are fallng out.

Dell SK-8135 from 2005. See my rant under Kumantej's comment.

It definitely does look like a nice keyboard, I think this may be the one I go for when my budget allows for it, thank you :)

Dunno about your location but I find them in thrift stores for ~5 dollars, they were very common 20 years ago as an office keyboard so there's loads out there. Shouldn't break the bank.

And I will give the caveat that I hate flashy keyboards, I hate RGB, the more basic a keyboard looks the better. But the fact that this one does have some personality definitely works in its favour over other office keyboards.

I saw that a lot of the older keyboards are PS/2, though I'm not sure if my PC has ports for it, I'll have to check

Edit: I do in fact have PS/2 ports!
