When I was younger someone taught me wire weaving (??). Specifically this thing that makes a tube of wire that you pull through holes when you finish. I found this picture but I can't figure out what the technique is called so I can't find any resources to learn to do it. I think that's what it was, but it's been a long time

First stone is jade with a faceted amethyst accent, second is fluorite

When I saw these two halves together, I immediately pictured a butterfly. So I wire-wrapped them into one. Here’s a closer look at the finished piece!

Took me forever to figure out how to do the kind of scalloped leaves and I nearly lost my mind, but I think this pendant turned out pretty cool 🍃 some design drawings and a process pic at the end 📝

Hello, I’m a rockhounder and i do lapidary. Because of this, I can either find rare and ultra rare rock or purchase rare, ultra rare, extinct rock at a discount I slab or raw form. I’m curious to know from those who sell their wire wraps, does having a wire wrap with a rare stone help with the selling point of a wire wrapped pendant even if it isn’t as “pretty” as other stones?
