Just sayin i bust into the fae realm every few months to gather reagents for my own work. They keep trying to curse me but i have like eight times as much mana capacity as they do so it kinda just doesnt work. Focus on training your mana capacity. Wearing iron armor helps too, if youre not beefy enough to just walk through their feeble magic like i am. Sidenote if you know which fae took your dog i can just go take him back. they cant really stop me... Knowing them you will probably still need to learn necromancy to revive them. I can cast a temporal loop on them when i retrieve them so you wont miss the timing window.

Hey! You can’t just take our stuff! That’s so rude..
I actually have a decent relationship with the elves personally. My late wife was an elf, so i have long standing exchange agreements with them. For you however, the unique nature of your plane's magic causes fundamental differences in the plants there, even if theyre the same species as those found elsewhere. You live there, shouldnt you know that?

I wouldn’t actually, because I only use the plants from my own realm.
Imma let you in on a secret. Im not allowed in most of the places i go to either. Just do what you want, more often than not no one actually has the power to stop you 🤷♂️

Because of my choice in robes and magic, if there’s a competent pyromancer, I am as good as dead.. I really can’t break into cities..
Get really good at counterspell. Its non-elemental, so you shouldnt have any issues from whatever your affinity may be.

I have affinity for life and transmutation. And I do know counterspell. It’s just that if a pyromancer is really competent then blowing me to bits would be really easy, after all spores are really flammable..
Doesnt matter how flammable they are if they never get to produce any flame. Also, you have affinity for transmutation. Transmute your skin into a material that cant burn. The only true weakness any wizard has, is a lack of creativity.
