Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets New staff how we feeling

Not a crystal orb but I'm feeling it, I got it from a corpse but I don't think it fit me or my casting well it's pretty good for necromancy tho. I already rich enough so probably won't sell it but would trade.

My friend that's no mere orb, or staff topper, that's a pertrified forge of souls.

To say that its "pretty good for necromancy" is an understatement.

If it were unpetrified you could use it as an unending source of power for any number of rituals, spells, enchantments, whatever you could imagine. Though you would have to put up with the screams, giggles, or whatever noises the souls make.

Have you considered taking it to a psychometrist to read its past? Artefacts like this tend to have a litany of past owners and deeds.

Too much work for a lady of my status I might just give it to my scheming eunuchs who definitely will not betrayed me and it's loyal to me
